Kennedys Fulham (Fish & Seafood Restaurant)
● Closed“I've visited London 20+ times over the past 30 years. While on holiday, we were seeking a new spot for great fish and chips. This spot scored 4.9 on user reviews plus this location in Fulham was near where we were staying so we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is very pleasant (casual). This location has only been open 6 months and still feels new and welcoming with comfortably spaced tables, beautiful chandeliers, etc. To cut to the food, the fish and chips were outstanding. I personally prefer my chips slightly thinner, but they were fresh cut and prepared correctly. The fish (I had cod, but you can choose haddock) was cooked perfectly. Crispy brown outside, moist and plump inside. It comes with a smashed pea puree. The lunch special includes fish and chips with a beverage included (soda or half pint of beer). My wife had a steak pie which was freshly prepared and delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive. Elton is a great guy and will answer all your questions. We'll be back!!!”

Gigi Tapas Restaurant and Bar
● Closed“Our first visit to this reletively new restaurant in Wallington, on Friday night. The staff were friendly from the moment we walked in and professional. Inside & outside eating. We sat inside which was nice. We ordered 6 Tapas dishes, king prawns in garlic sauce, calamari in bread crumbs & black pepper, meatballs, Chorizo, garlic bread & potato bravas. All of these were delicious! The king prawn was my favourite. We had lager and wine, which we liked. It was not that busy luckily, as we did not book a table. We would recommend going. We will be going again with friends next time.”

Balham Social (Indian Restaurant,Cocktail Bar)
● Closed“Best Indian food in Southwest London. Period. As an Indian myself, the food here is authentic - and not comparable at all to the generic fare served at most curry houses. Standout dishes for me were : - Lamb Nihari - Kheema Pav - Malai Chicken Tikka - Social Chicken Curry Only critique would be the service which can be slow at times, but I'm sure theyll work it out. 100% recommend”
-

When we return to London, this will be the reason. I forgot to take a photo of the meal before we began eating. But as you can see, we savored it.”

Emideli Restaurant
● Open“The best! What can I say. Food is top notch! Finest quality and amazing hospitality. Feel so welcome from the moment you walk in the door! I have had many items on this menu but the best I have had so far by a mile is 100% the freshly made pizza! These are made on site from the pastry to going into the pizza oven! Amazing flavour which really comes through. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!”
-
Albion's Restaurant
● Closed“One of the best Italian restaurants in London. Had Linguine Frutti Di Mare, Calamari Starter and Chocolate Fondant and they are all perfect. Not a fan of mussels until this visit. So fresh I'd think the sea is accessible from their kitchen. @Albion if you read this, keep doing what you've been doing, may you stay in business forever.”

Roy's Restaurant Southgate
● Closed“After a recommendation from a friend, we decided to give Roys a try. Was pleasantly greeted by the staff and was seated at a nice table. The restaurant had a nice cosy feel to it. There was plenty to choose from on the menu plus there was a specials board. The food was very well presented and extremely tasty including the mouthwatering desserts. Big portions and full of flavour. Nice selection of wines and cocktails. Highly recommend!”
-
Lizzie's Cucina - Italian Restaurant
● Closed“Had a lunch here on the off chance as I had heard a lot of good reviews. True Italian (staff and customers), staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for them. (This was perfectly illustrated when a customer walked in thinking it was still a cafe and wanted a takeaway tea. So they made him one). Food was really fantastic and perfectly cooked to order. It's not the cheapest but it's absolutely worth the money.”
-
The Clink Restaurant Brixton
● Closed“Belated Christmas treat from the two friends who accompanied my wife and I yesterday. All blown away by the whole experience. Fine dining at its best, impeccable service and plush setting. We had the Sunday roast - one of the best ever. Starters, desserts and mocktails were superb too. Now highly recommending to everybody we know. In particular would like to wish our server, Haych, all our very best for the future. A most attentive, informative and friendly guy. Hope he manages to gain his City & Guilds certificates to pursue a career in hospitality when he is released. Confident he will.”

ROOTS RESTAURANT
● Closed110 Streatham High Road, London SW16 1BS, United Kingdom“It's a got a good vibe and great staff to dine in, the food was perfect and the shisha was a great finish. The outdoor area is still covered with heat lamps so even in the cold and rain it's not an issue and it even has music that you can control. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking for lebanese food.”

-
Bisha Eritrean Restaurant
● Closed544 Holloway Road, London N7 6JP, United Kingdom“I discovered this place by coincidence for the simple fact that I recently moved to the area. It's difficult to describe with words how much I love it. Everything is beyond perfection and make this one of the best restaurants in London if you want atmosphere, great food and great service ... all at a very reasonable price. I haven't tried all dishes yet but so far I was blown away by the Bamia (OKRA) and the Awaze Tibsi. I'm really fascinated by the vernacular decor of the place, which really makes you feel like you just stepped in Eritrea. The background songs are all beautiful (it made me discover the artist Abrar Osman!). And, nevertheless, the people are so welcoming and make you really feel at home, both the restaurateurs and the loyal clients. A special mention to Jordanos for introducing me to the dishes and for generally being nice and chatty. Couldn't recommend it more!”
-
Buna Ethiopian Restaurant
● Closed“Very good Ethiopian at a very reasonable price. It's £32 for the sharing multi platter for 2 very hungry, or 3 sort of hungry people. The Ethiopian honey wine is definitely worth a try, it tastes a bit like sweet apricot juice, quite nice, £5 for a large glass. It's on the way from Highbury & Islington to Emirates, went there before a cup match midweek and couldn't believe how empty it was. This place is a little gem. If you've never tried Ethiopian, it's a bit like Indian, but it's all plopped in little piles on a big plate in the middle to share.”

Black Bear Burger - Restaurant Brixton
● Closed“Alright hear me now, after the long wait I finally made my appearance at the hyped black bear burger, said to have the BEST burgers in London. The last time I heard a restaurant had the best something in London, I was unfortunately disappointed. Nonetheless, I wished this time there would be a glimmer of hope and that it would be different. The service was amazing; a really friendly vibe to the place which took the culinary experience to another level. It was nice and cool in the restaurant, with plenty of seating for a hot summers day. They had a very efficient payment system which made it very easy to leave whenever you wanted which was good. They even blessed us with free ice cream at the end. In my opinion, I can’t honestly say I had the best burger in London—though in all fairness it’s going to take something really special for me to even consider calling anything the best in London. They had a very efficient payment system which made it very easy to pay and then leave when you want which was good. They even blessed us with free ice cream at the end. The whole meal came up to £27. Fries These skin-on fries were pretty decent; good potato content and fluffy, too. They were as crispy as I expected but were definitely lacking some salt. There was a Five Guys-ness to them though not to the same level. Overall, they didn’t feel like an inconvenience to eat which is definitely a positive. 6.5/10 Chicken nuggets The highly praised nuggets were something I believed to be quite unique—especially when it comes to a restaurant like this—and the way they were made was quite different in itself. They were very well seasoned, the coating was crispy, and the chicken breast was cooked really well. The nuggets were accompanied with their blue cheese and buffalo sauce, which I wasn’t really a fan of. For a total of £7 they do give you a considerable amount of them—especially given that they’re only a side. I was a bit unsure about the seasoning of the nuggets, but ultimately, I enjoyed them. 6.7/10 Miso bacon burger It’s time for the main event: the burger. Now although the Miso bacon burger wasn’t their signature one, I had read the description and was more intrigued to try it. It was £12 for a single burger, but if you have the money for it I would advise you to double up. The patty was incredibly juicy, the sauce inside was very nice, and the onions were a great touch. The seeded bun was a good move for the sturdiness of it all, especially in the top one. The bottom bun, however, wasn’t a match for the miso sauce; it left it slightly soggy—though that wasn’t enough to detract from the positives of the burger. I believe it could have been improved with some fresh iceberg lettuce, but I did enjoy it. 7.4/10 Overall culinary experience: 8/10 For more food reviews check my insta: sjtalks_”

-
Tower Mangal Turkish Restaurants

-
Turnips Restaurant Borough Market

-
Babel Grill House Lebanese halal restaurant
● Closed“Decided to walk in to this place on a Wednesday night without a reservation but we weren't turned away. The friendly man managed to find us the perfect table until our food arrived. The food was incredible. Fresh and flavorsome. Will definitely be a regular here from now on! The service, atmosphere and food was top notch!”
-
Thai O'CHA Restaurant
● Closed“I found this amazing Thai restaurant on Google during my short stay in London. My go-to is green curry with chicken, and most places just can’t seem to get it right. Thai O’CHA hit the mark. They made it Thai hot, just the way I like it, and I was more than satisfied. The owner personally chatted with me and treated me with hospitality I have never experienced before. I even received some Papad and Thai desert on the house! As someone out at dinner on my own, I felt like I was at home. Thank you, Sultana, for such a lovely welcome.”
