● Closed“What an amazing place that has opened just on our doorstep. My 2 children (5 and 7) were treated like VIPs and the food and drinks (especially the Nutella milkshake) were divine. We will definitely be visiting often”

Detroit Pizza London
● Closed75 Commercial Street, London E1 6BD, United Kingdom“An authentic taste of Detroit in London! As a resident of the great city of Detroit I consider myself an expert in this pizza category. The crust was amongst the best I’ve had, crispy and light, it held the authentic sauce well and the cheese blend was unique to the pie, providing a familiar and welcomed twist on this classic square deep dish with crispy edges. I found a true taste of home in an unexpected city. I’d eat this pizza anywhere in the world. Loved it and will be sending many your way!”

Happy Sushi Takeaway
● Closed“I don't normally like sushi but I absolutely love this place. Our order was prepared fresh with so much care and attention, it was a joy to see. They have great vegetarian and vegan options and the food is amazing. A very small place with only one table so it's best to take the food away but it's the perfect small restaurant to get food from when you are in the area.”

YUME (Sushi Restaurant & Takeaway)
● Closed“Delicious food. Reasonable cost. We got donburi salmon teriyaki and veg curry. Reasonable portions. From the pictures I thought the crockery might be in plastic containers but the food was served in very tasteful japanese ceramics which makes a difference to me to the dining experience. Very delightful pretty surroundings. We were the only ones there, seems like leytonstone is pretty quiet for dining. They are not properly appreciated here! In central London I'm sure they'd be packed. We were there from 6.30-7.30pm or so. There were 2 deliveries collected whilst we were there and 1 guy who came for a take away. Seems more popular for take aways which is a shame as it's a lovely looking restaurant.”

Thann Thai ( Weybridge Thai Restaurant and Takeaway Service)
● Closed“We visited this restaurant a few years ago when they were located in Chertsey. It was amazing back then and it has now relocated to weybridge. We wanted to go and check it out and we weren't disappointed. Food is excellent, really tasty and well presented. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are so friendly and attentive. A couple of minor downsides are there's only one toilet per male and one per female which can get busy. A little tight with regards to seating but it's not the worst we've experienced. Although in the warmer months there is an outside seating area. Highly recommended for a great night of food and drinks. Will certainly return.”

Mekan Turkish Restaurant

Indian Panorama Restaurant - Near Me in Surrey, Esher, Walton on Thames, Ditton, Hersham, Cobham, Sunbury
● Closed“Have dined a number of times and never been disappointed. As it was bonfire night a friend and I decided to get a takeaway. The food was beautiful, hot, with all the right spices, making it the same as if dined in. What was exceptional was that 2/3 minutes after opening the takeaway bag I realised that one item was incorrect but as we liked this starter anyway we decided not to bother to do anything. However the phone went and panorama rang, full of apologies and sent a driver out with the item we had ordered. I said it didn’t matter but they insisted. I thought this was great customer service. Amazing food, never disappointed completed with great customer service by lovely people”

Phoreal Vietnamese Street Food & Phoreal At Home Ready Meals
● Closed“Authentic gem and a great find. Came across this place and caught my attention as it was clearly the busiest of all market stalls with a constant queue of people. After trying their food, I understand why! Food was cooked to order so was fresh and hot. I recommend the rice with pork. Banh mi was also great. Could do with more tables and chairs but only because it is so busy, but for all the right reasons.”

Bade Turkish Restaurant
● Closed“This is the best Turkish restaurant I've ever had. The design of the restaurant is also very beautiful. I will come again next time”
-
Riya Pure Veg Restaurant
● Closed“Lovely Indian restaurant with lots of vegan street food. Veg Manchurian with Gravy and Pani Puri were really good. Ragra Petis was nice, too. The chips in the Masala Chips were done nicely but the sauce was a bit too spicy for me. Sugar cane juice (S) is a must have!”

C&K Turkish Restaurant
● Closed“We went there for a date night with my wife. We have a love of Turkey having got married there and we have been visiting the country for nearly 20 years. This restaurant is small from the outside but huge inside and super tidy and clean. The owners spotted we were new customers and made us feel totally comfortable and looked after. The food was beautiful and delicious. All the staff there were friendly. The food was amazing and looking at the pictures on the other reviews feel remiss that we didn't take any pictures. We had 3 courses and by the time we left we could hardly walk ha ha. You could not fault anything. We will definitely be back and we cannot recommend this place highly enough. Avril and Lucy”

Kennedys Fulham (Fish & Seafood Restaurant)
● Closed“I've visited London 20+ times over the past 30 years. While on holiday, we were seeking a new spot for great fish and chips. This spot scored 4.9 on user reviews plus this location in Fulham was near where we were staying so we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is very pleasant (casual). This location has only been open 6 months and still feels new and welcoming with comfortably spaced tables, beautiful chandeliers, etc. To cut to the food, the fish and chips were outstanding. I personally prefer my chips slightly thinner, but they were fresh cut and prepared correctly. The fish (I had cod, but you can choose haddock) was cooked perfectly. Crispy brown outside, moist and plump inside. It comes with a smashed pea puree. The lunch special includes fish and chips with a beverage included (soda or half pint of beer). My wife had a steak pie which was freshly prepared and delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive. Elton is a great guy and will answer all your questions. We'll be back!!!”

Balham Social (Indian Restaurant,Cocktail Bar)
● Closed“Best Indian food in Southwest London. Period. As an Indian myself, the food here is authentic - and not comparable at all to the generic fare served at most curry houses. Standout dishes for me were : - Lamb Nihari - Kheema Pav - Malai Chicken Tikka - Social Chicken Curry Only critique would be the service which can be slow at times, but I'm sure theyll work it out. 100% recommend”

Emideli Restaurant
● Closed“The best! What can I say. Food is top notch! Finest quality and amazing hospitality. Feel so welcome from the moment you walk in the door! I have had many items on this menu but the best I have had so far by a mile is 100% the freshly made pizza! These are made on site from the pastry to going into the pizza oven! Amazing flavour which really comes through. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!”

Black Bear Burger - Restaurant Brixton
● Closed“Alright hear me now, after the long wait I finally made my appearance at the hyped black bear burger, said to have the BEST burgers in London. The last time I heard a restaurant had the best something in London, I was unfortunately disappointed. Nonetheless, I wished this time there would be a glimmer of hope and that it would be different. The service was amazing; a really friendly vibe to the place which took the culinary experience to another level. It was nice and cool in the restaurant, with plenty of seating for a hot summers day. They had a very efficient payment system which made it very easy to leave whenever you wanted which was good. They even blessed us with free ice cream at the end. In my opinion, I can’t honestly say I had the best burger in London—though in all fairness it’s going to take something really special for me to even consider calling anything the best in London. They had a very efficient payment system which made it very easy to pay and then leave when you want which was good. They even blessed us with free ice cream at the end. The whole meal came up to £27. Fries These skin-on fries were pretty decent; good potato content and fluffy, too. They were as crispy as I expected but were definitely lacking some salt. There was a Five Guys-ness to them though not to the same level. Overall, they didn’t feel like an inconvenience to eat which is definitely a positive. 6.5/10 Chicken nuggets The highly praised nuggets were something I believed to be quite unique—especially when it comes to a restaurant like this—and the way they were made was quite different in itself. They were very well seasoned, the coating was crispy, and the chicken breast was cooked really well. The nuggets were accompanied with their blue cheese and buffalo sauce, which I wasn’t really a fan of. For a total of £7 they do give you a considerable amount of them—especially given that they’re only a side. I was a bit unsure about the seasoning of the nuggets, but ultimately, I enjoyed them. 6.7/10 Miso bacon burger It’s time for the main event: the burger. Now although the Miso bacon burger wasn’t their signature one, I had read the description and was more intrigued to try it. It was £12 for a single burger, but if you have the money for it I would advise you to double up. The patty was incredibly juicy, the sauce inside was very nice, and the onions were a great touch. The seeded bun was a good move for the sturdiness of it all, especially in the top one. The bottom bun, however, wasn’t a match for the miso sauce; it left it slightly soggy—though that wasn’t enough to detract from the positives of the burger. I believe it could have been improved with some fresh iceberg lettuce, but I did enjoy it. 7.4/10 Overall culinary experience: 8/10 For more food reviews check my insta: sjtalks_”

-
Tower Mangal Turkish Restaurants
● Closed“The food was very tasty, the portions were very generous, and they gave a really tasty salad. When offering free salads, they’re not usually this tasty or generous. I ordered the veggie skewer, which was really tasty and I love how they cooked the rice.”

THE BELL Cafe & Multi Cuisine Restaurant (Greenwich & Cutty Sark)
● Closed18 Haddo Street, London SE10 9RN, United Kingdom“We ordered the chicken curry with rice and the chicken biryani. Both tasted great and the spice level was just right (and is customizable on request). The biryani also came with two sauces for balance. The prices are very reasonable and I would definitely order them again! The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome even though it was our first time. There were many regulars there too. For a cafe, the food took quite some time to arrive after ordering but this is forgivable given the final quality - I would not want them to rush if it meant sacrificing the taste.”
-
Saka Maka Hither Green Indian Restaurant
● Closed“Really delicious food! I love the menu, there’s so much on offer for vegetarians. I’ve had a couple of take aways from Saka Maka and would highly recommend it. The flavours are delicious and the food tastes so fresh. I really enjoyed the sprout salad starter and the black lentil Dahl was absolutely delicious!”
-
Mittee Indian Restaurant
● Closed“Amazing time for a birthday dinner, highly recommend! I came to Mittee with 25 friends for a celebratory birthday dinner and from planning to the actual evening, Prachandra and the team at Mittee were great! Prachandra helped me come up with a good set menu for the night, ensuring there would a be a wide range for people to choose from and was very pro-active in making sure I had all I needed and was ready for the evening. On the night itself, they were more than ready for us when we had arrived, having kept a separate section for us and even putting up some happy birthday banners, which was a really lovely touch. The food was phenomenal, with all my friends loving their dishes, and those with dietary requirements (nut allergies, vegetarian, vegan, lactose intolerant etc..) were really well catered for. I had a wonderful time, and the front of house were amazing - with a special shout out to Ash who looked over our party really well. The restaurant itself is beautiful and a lovely venue for any type of dinner, celebration or event. The whole evening went a lot better than I could have hoped for, and I cannot wait to go back soon! Thank you for making my birthday really special!”

Lakehouse Hungarian Restaurant
● Closed“I and my Portuguese friend visited the Lakehouse this lovely sunny Sunday. We were so amazed by the homemade chicken pate and goualsh and chicken soup were also very yummy. We recommend that ask some bread for goulash soup. They served the soups in rustic bowls. The mains are very fullfilling and big portions. Always go for parsley potatoes instead of chips! It is worth a lot. And the desserts? Mmmm you have a few choices. Hungarian crepes, Hungarian trifle, chestnut puree with fruits and whipping cream. For drink: I tasted their lemonade. I really loved it. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, cosy and handmade decorated. If you can, and have had experience within just share it with your friends and family.”
