“Went for dinner with a friend. The food was delicious. I had the kofte for starter & sea bass for my main. The cocktails also went down nicely. Would go again!”

“Great ‘little’ pub. Friendly, good selection of drinks including ales that pour to a good standard, good food and reasonably priced for an independent local. Welcoming place. Can get busy especially if outside not suitable due to weather so recommend booking if looking to specifically eat as a group.”

“Great pub and such a fantastic atmosphere. Went there with a group of friends on a Friday evening. Reasonably priced drinks, bottle of Prosecco was really nice too. Evening started off with Sports on the TV, then live music afterwards. A definite must visit in Epsom, will certainly return.”

“The seats are so comfy. Have a limitless pass so doesn't matter if film is rubbish, worth it for the reclining seats. Only downside is people seem to have forgotten what a bin looks like. Not the staff fault”

“Went for Sunday roast and it was very nice. I had the lettuce bacon and avocado salad as a main and there was plenty of it, it was delicious and I’d come back just for this salad. My other half had the chicken roast and he said it was really good. We also had all the side dishes to the roast: also very good! I recommend the Douro if you like a rich red wine, very good value. The staff was really good too, especially as it was very busy as we came in at 4.30pm. They deserve the 5 stars as far as I’m concerned.”

“Stopped at this eatery whilst in the area and was pleasantly delighted to find some good quality Italian food. There was 6 of us and all of us were happy with our choices of antipasti and main. Calamari, garlic pizza, baked mushrooms as starters and fettuccine alle vongole, carbonara, risotto and linguine alla siciliana for main. Will be back.”

“Lovely small pub, with exemplary bar stuff. Full of locals who knew each other and had tabs open... but the atmosphere was really friendly and welcoming they were a friendly bunch. Beer was good they had local "Shere Drop" which was lovely and well kept. It was not a cluttered pub with plenty of space between furniture and a beer garden. It was a football night when we visited but the fans were friendly and not too loud.”

“We turned to the Ye Olde Kings Head as our first choice pub wasn’t serving roast dinner as they had run out, we are really glad they had run out as we would never have discovered this gem of a pub. We were greeted as we arrived by Karen and she showed us to her table. We all had Roast Dinner and it was amazing, loads of food.... the cauliflower cheese was fully loaded, enough vegetables for all of us and the roast dinner’s were just yummy. We had so much food we couldn’t manage dessert. We will definitely be going back there.”

“I organised a 40th birthday party for my husband at Masons Bar for last night. We had a fantastic evening, all of our guests really enjoyed themselves and the music was spot on, it definitely got everyone in the party spirit! Terri was fab to deal with on the lead up to the party and her and the team were just as fab on the night, very friendly and welcoming they really do create a lovely atmosphere in the bar. Would highly recommend Masons if you are looking for a party venue.”

“Our First Visit here. Came here as it was the only place with availability for the 'Eat out to help out'. Further then I normally travel, but worth the time. You are greeted by a very friendly gentleman, who took my car reg for the parking. He showed us to our table and explained how it all works (covid 19 rules). Our drinks order was taken quickly and enough time was given for us to choose our meals. When they came the look great. See photos. The food was really good, if I was to be critical, they toast the children's burger bun. This makes it too hard for children the really bite into. My mixed grill was very nice, again if I would to be critical, I asked for a medium steak, I felt it was more medium rare. This is just me, this may be how some people do 'medium' take a look at the photo below and see for your self. Otherwise the chicken was very moist the eggs runny and the sausages juicy. A lovely meal with very friendly staff. Social distancing measures in place and clean. Will be back in the future.”

“A Lovely meal. We had the 12oz fillet steak & it was served piping hot & cooked to perfection. We also had the BBQ chicken & ribs upgrading to the full rack. We were offered skinny fries or chunky triple cookies chips and we both chose the latter. We added a side of chunky slaw & beer battered onion rings. All the food was very good. After this we were full so didn't order pudding so will have to return. Our server Emma was very helpful and is a real asset to this Beefeater. We'll done Emma & all the staff at the Tattenham corner Beefeater. We will definitely return.”
