“Very nice hotel, not too far from Kew Gardens and Richmond town centre. Up on the hill with some great views this place. Key highlights for me, we wanted to park for two nights as we were staying for a wedding and they only charged for one and gave the second day as complimentary. Also my partner forgot her mascara and the lady at the front desk was very helpful in letting her borrow hers! Not a service they normally offer I’m sure, but great of her to provide this. Beyond this, the beds were comfy, very cleanly and it was not noisy at all.”

“It’s always nice to discover cafes where the staff look excited and passionate about what they are doing. It certainly reflected in the coffee which was outstanding. We tried a slice of the orange and almond cake too which we will be coming back for. Anyone who enjoys great coffee definitely won’t be disappointed.”

“A lovely grand historical venue with amazing picturesque gardens. We attended a shared Xmas party as two couples joined by 3 other companies having their Xmas party. The staff were amazing and attentive, the food was great and the atmosphere and entertainment was great. Everyone had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to share a party and make some new friends. We didn't stay over so can't comment on the rooms. A special mention to Grant Chatfield, events manager who was extremely helpful and accommodating when we were booking and also gave as a lovely welcome on arrival.”

“The lunch set menu was really good value and excellent quality. Loved the Prawn Cocktail on toast, and the Pan Fried Seabass with a lemon and butter sauce, these were perfect and I’d highly recommend them! Also we enjoyed the Duck Rillettes and Brevette Steak buried under a pile of shallots. All washed down with a pleasant Carafe of enjoyable House red, we’ll definitely be back for more again soon.”

“Good food (better than just standard pub grub). Good beer, coffee etc. Friendly crowd and bar staff. A short hike from Key Gardens and nice way to end the day. Parking possibilities along Kew Green or side streets.”

“Thank you to all the lovely staff at K and West for making myself, husband and mother feel so welcome during our stay. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and every single member of staff we met went out of their way to go above and beyond (at no request of ours). Such a lovely welcome and atmosphere can be rare to find but it really does go a long way! Immaculately clean, lovely facilities, great bar and food. We will be back.”

“This salon is so lovely and Rose is the best beautician I have had :) Waxing here is as comfortable as it possibly can be and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have also had facials & Mani/Pedis here which have been so professional with great results. I look forward to my appointments every month with Rose! Next up is my usual waxing and nails, with an added massage!”

“Beautifully cool and clean outdoor pool. Well maintained and staffed with 2 lifeguards. You can change outside or use the indoor rooms, and there's a cafe inside for afterwards. Numbers are limited so you'll need to book well in advance by setting up an online account for each person, and there is a waiting list function for full sessions. Public sessions offer 3 lanes (slow, med, fast) and capacity is per lane. Despite the hassle of setting up an account and the somewhat curt receptionist, the swimming experience is very relaxed. Highly recommended on a hot day - but book a week ahead.”
