“Our furry family members have been going to Jess and Amanda(owners) for over 15 years. We have always received first class service and standard and I know this to be the case for so many customers, they rave about coming to Groomers On The Green! They have been part of the foundation of Brookmans Park for over 10 years and care about their standard, customers and community with everyday they work and every member of the team takes such pride with each and every furry friend that comes through their door. I particularly appreciate how accommodating and flexible they are as they understands plans can changed, appointments may be cancelled or I might get stuck and can't collect my boys on time, they have never charged a fee for this or taken a deposit which I understand other places to (which i understand). I highly recommend this grooming parlour and look forward to being a customer of theirs for another 15 years and more!”

“Listen, this isn't a luxury odeon, but the tickets are £4.99 so how could you say no. Definitely avoid seeing a film on the first opening weekend or two because it'll be rammed beyond belief, but after that you'll pretty much have the screen all to yourself. They might forget to turn the lights down tho which happens sometimes, but it's a good laugh and we love our local cinema and everyone who works in it.”

“Amazing doggy day care. Our mini Goldendoodle Brownie has been going to Bruces for the last 2 years. They provide amazing service and very friendly and trustworthy team of professionals. Nothing better than knowing that your dog is in great hands and is having a fabulous time whilst you are at work. He comes home happy and is very well socialized. Highly recommend!”

“I couldn’t be happier with the groom doggylocks have done for my cockapoo. She’s a very nervous dog but they were great with her! Unfortunately she had got matted after an operation but they’ve had to give a short cut and it looks fantastic. They even picked her up from home and dropped her back for a small fee. I would definitely recommend doggylocks to anyone!”

He also gave me a few tips and advice on training and dogs therapy, he was super prepared on all my questions. “Our puppy Peggy always comes home very tired, what more can we ask! Gail sends us videos of walks during the day so we can see she’s being well looked after. Overall service is great, pick up in the morning and drop off in the evening. The dogs all seem to have a great time playing together and Peggy always seems excited when Gail is at the door to pick her up.”

“I don’t think I can put into words just how fantastic Dogsaloud is and how much it means to my husband and I to have Nilly and Ron looking after our dog. We came across Dogsaloud by chance after moving to the area and it turned out to be the perfect place for Hazel. She’s been going to Nilly’s for about 3 years now and she absolutely loves it there, she pulls towards Nilly’s door when we walk past and when we drop her off she runs straight upstairs and makes herself comfy on the sofa, not one look back. It’s much more than a boarding place, it has become a second home for Hazel. We love it that she spends her time in a house in the company of people and other dogs and not isolated in a kennel; she goes for nice, long walks, and in fact we found out about a lot of great walking places from Nilly; she’s well looked after and she’s even allowed to sleep in bed UNDER THE COVERS, just like she does at home. Nilly’s been absolutely brilliant from the beginning, very accommodating and very flexible, which is great for two disorganized people like us. She’s helped us out in many, many ways, even taking Hazel to the vet for us when she got injured just before we started work. We really couldn’t ask for anything more, Dogsaloud is excellent!!!”

My dog, Huck, is a rescue and a young dog, so finding the right person to look after him when I am at work was really important. Bob has a natural instinct for animals which cannot be taught. Bob looks after Huck as if he is his own dog, and Huck goes bonkers with excitement whenever Bob comes to collect him. As well as taking the best care of Huck, Bob's service is also wonderfully flexible. I often have to change daycare days due to a busy work schedule but Bob has never let me down. Bob has also helped me out with great tips and advice for Huck. Unlike many other dog walkers who stick to the same routes, Bob makes a point of taking the dogs to different places for extra enrichment and the benefit of this really shows. There is simply no one else I trust more to look after my most precious companion.”

“I used this dog boarding service when we went on holiday back in February. My puppy German shepherd was 3 months old then and I was anxious how he would be around anyone other than us. He also suffered from separation anxiety. We made Lauren aware of our concerns and also wanted some lead training done whilst he stayed there. Togo loved his first stay and learnt a lot and we also were sent picture and videos of how he was doing. Since then Togo has stayed on a number of occasions for 2-3 days at a time and I know if I make a call for advice I’ll be given correct information too.Togo is now 7 months and is always happy to stay with Lauren. It’s like he has a second set of parents and to know they are fully insured and have the correct training means I can rest assured that Togo is safe and well looked after.”
