Reservations are recommended even on a weekday lunch as they do get quite filled though walk ins are possible if you go earlier during the lunch service. We enjoyed almost every dish. Standouts were the tempura Guindilla Peppers (great with a beer or G&T, not spicy), Estilo paella (nicely cooked rice, but the choice of a single prawn as the dish accent is perplexing on a sharing dish) and the Prawns Pil Pil (great crunch in fragrant oil, some bread on the side would be much appreciated). The sardines were also lovely. The Spanish tortilla was on the bland side and the lamb skewers too dry.”

Food was great, great selection of beers, service was good and the secret garden at the back was a bonus. I really not sure why the pub next door is so full when this little gem was half empty, but we took it to our advantage.”

“Excellent food, service and ambience. Waiting staff are prompt and attentive, without bring suffocating. Always with a smile. Attractive, well kept restaurant, bar and garden settings. Menu carries a wide range of tempting dishes, without being a catalogue, good wine list. Recommend the sticky beef with coconut rice - lovely piece of braising steak in a wonderfully glazed sauce of ginger, lime and soy sauce.”

“After going to the same groomers for over 2 years I decided it was time to look for a new one. My previous groomers, although good I seemed to always pick fault with the finished cut, asking them to trim further areas. I grew sick and tired of repeating the same thing. I always felt disappointed. Sometimes it looked like he didn’t get a groom at all and before I knew it I was back for another groom!! After some online research I decided to give Perfect Pooch a try! I’m so glad I did! Amazing job!! Amazing cut, didn’t feel the need to ask for more hair to be trimmed. I simply walked out with Hugo with a big smile on my face! I could tell they cared and wanted only the best for their clients and furry friends! I will be a customer for life! Thank you so much”

“While I think the initial reaction was 'another coffee shop? at least it's not an estate agent' for most people in Teddington, Local Hero being a new addition to the high street is a dream. They've played into the fact that they're a coffee shop, and not a brunch/dinner/lunch place, and the focus on great coffee pays off with consistently great coffee. (although the pastries and small bites really are great too!) Family run with two other places in SW London, there's a range of different coffees, with all your usual oat/soy/alternative milk, with LH's house roast that makes for a great espresso - one of the only places in the area you can have a magic too (think flat white, but punchier!) Add on friendly and welcoming staff, and Local Hero is a winner for anything from a morning wake up call through to meeting a friend for a chat over a great tasting coffee. They're also dog friendly, which is a huge plus!”

The service from their team is always friendly and helpful, and the repair is always superfast at a reasonable price. Our favourite activity has been boating up the Thames all the way to Hampton Court on a beautiful sunny day. Food is also exceptional and we're looking forward to the new members café very much. “My first visit to The Red Lion, I’m ashamed to say, especially as I used to live around the corner for over twelve years!! Anyway, attended tonight for a Rotary Club function, and what I sincerely hope will be our new club meeting venue each week. There were 11 of us tonight, and the food was served to perfection. Portion size is superb. I had the nachos, which was huge, and did me proud. Others ordered various items and were were all equally impressed. My friend sitting next to me had the pork ribs. I swear there was half a pig, and having had to help him, I know what I’m having next time. Staff friendliness and positive attitude is excellent and put the venue we are currently at to shame. With great parking in the road adjacent, and close by, after 6.30pm, as well as the bus service too, with stops almost outside; life just gets better. Oh, free WiFi, pleasant surroundings, and great food (at sensible prices), all make up a perfect package. Will I be back? You bet your life I will, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone.”

Recently hosted a semi private birthday party here for my son’s 1st birthday and I can’t thank the team enough for how smoothly it all ran - all the food was served together for 24 guests and everyone was saying how much they liked the food. The staff were very accommodating and helped us through the process of planning it all to make it just as we wanted it to be. Would definitely come back again and recommend.”
