“We were lucky to have found such a luxurious and caring home for our Siberian cat while we were away for a month. We were worried about leaving our kitty for so long especially as it was his first time away from home but the moment we met Daisy and her beautiful cattery we knew he would be very well looked after. The suites are immaculately clean and full of all the creature comforts a kitty could dream of. Daisy played with him a few times every day and it was clear when we picked him up that he was very happy, really well fed and beautifully groomed. We also absolutely loved the frequent photo updates and picture postcards Daisy sent us - what a treat! We can’t recommend this place enough and this is definitely our go-to place if we ever need someone to look after our cat again.”

“We have been going to the crispy cod regularly as a family. Great atmosphere, very clean and reasonably priced. Great choices on the menu, something for everyone. My children love the milkshakes and fried halloumi. It’s a family run business that take pride in what they do, I can’t recommend anymore”

“I had such a wonderful time going to the Orpington! I feel lucky we are locals to a place like this. The menu is a sophisticated take on classics. Everything is homemade and fresh, with an attention to detail in each dish. Music was great. Beer menu, excellent. I had a salt beef sandwich and it was perfect. We both wanted to order the whole menu and are looking forward to coming back. Scott also seems to care about his team, and that matters. To anyone saying it's a bit pricey: You get what you pay for, and that's never been more true than here. High quality, locally sourced ingredients with well thought-out menus, and a warm and personable experience.”

“I saw Simon today who cut and blow dryed my hair. Simon was so lovely and really looked after me. He cut my hair beautifully and I looked amazing after, which was perfect timing as I was just about to meet my friends for lunch!!!! Everyone said how nice my hair looked.”

That said, this can be said for many places - it's the owner that really makes it. Pat cannot do enough for you and it's because of this as to why you become a returning customer. You are treated like family and in a world where division is rife, it's a nice to be treated like a human and not just a paying customer.”

The queue for lunch was reassuringly long, and with good reason; the food was tasty and generously portioned. Curry goat was lovely, as well as the jerk chicken. It was served with jollof rice rather than rice and peas but that made a nice change. Really nice Owner too. If I'm in the area will be sure to pay him a visit again”
