“I had morning coffee and toast at this lovely cafe on Edgeware Road while my husband was attending an appointment nearby. It was so good I took him back there for lunch! The menu is varied. The food is excellent, plentiful and inexpensive. I had chicken kebab with rice, salad and pitta and my husband had a fry up. Delicious. The chatter was lively between the customers and between customers and staff. As soon as you walked in you felt welcome. I just wish they had a cafe round the corner from me.”

From their different types of chutneys, their medu wadas (my personal favorite), to sweet dishes everything just tastes amazing. They make home made rasmalai, and their payasam is to die for. “A very authentic hk style restaurant! The 燒味飯is really nice! Especially the 燒鵝髀, just add 50p to change into the leg part, a very fair deal! 叉燒is a bit too dry and hard but acceptable, just can’t get 半肥瘦叉燒in uk anyway. The milk tea is very nice, the 紅豆冰is fine. Their bakery and pastry are also nice and fair price, much cheaper than China town.”

The ambiance here is great and it’s lovely to have the choice but Harune is certainly my current favourite. Staff are friendly and service is quick. Value is amazing.”

“My friend was raving about this place. Apparently there is a group on social media rating various eateries. This was one place to check out based on the group. I don't use social media so was curious. We dined during a Saturday evening. No booking but was seated out back , which looks like a big extension which is impressive in many ways. All built around a large oak-tree. Impressive. Front of house was extremely polite and welcoming. The member of staff was super polite and helpful with our menu selections and orders for beverages. Adding help and assistance along the way. I opted for a mocktail which was delicious and my dining guest had a milkshake which looked very nice. We chose starters which including chicken tikka and masala chips. Both were full of flavour and spice. In hindsight we should have shared our mains and naan to follow as the portion sizes for the mains were huge! My main was good. Full of chicken to the brim! I can't remember was my friend had but this looked and smelt amazing. My garlic naan was nice. This is my go to along with chicken tikka masala. We even took sight of chef with a yellow hat, looked the part. All things considered with price, service and quality you need to check this place out. Very recommended. Even the host looks like a magician in his red coat, a class act.”

“Came in on a lovely Sunday afternoon and I could clearly tell that the people working there were understaffed. I ordered fish and chippy for myself and my family and I noticed that there were a lot of people also waiting to be served. We all got our meal on time, which was lovely and what what impressed me the most was the service of the staff and in particular Robert. He was so nice and understanding even though there must have been immense pressure to continue his service. Please Morrisons make sure you take care of him and his staff. Will come back! 11/10 service.”
