“My option is that these guys who work here have incredible patience and education. I am a regular customer and I always ask them how they tolerate so much rudeness from people. the coffee is very good. I just have to walk through the door and they already know what to prepare. I have read comments here that they are rude. but I have seen situations where they are literally disrespected and they hold their own. I hope all Costa employees are like this team that works in this store.”

“I visited this hairdressers for the first time today after a recommendation from a friend. It was a really great experience from start to finish. I had a wash, cut and blow dry and I'm so pleased with the result. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout and my stylist took great care to find out what cut I wanted and checked several times that I was happy. I can't recommend them too highly.”

“I found this gem of a place just by chance and was immediately taken in by the ambience. A family run business, where the owners are extremely passionate about their job- evident by personal touches to the decor (hand painted henna designs on the wall), an open plan kitchen where you can clearly see how food is prepared, a warm welcome by the host and best is the choice of both Eastern and Western breakfast, complete with Kadak chai or Lassi!! I cannot recall ever having that diversity. Owners are Muslim, so bacon rashers are replaced by turkey,which I personally thought was a healthier option,but I will always opt for vegetarian anyway. I will strongly recommend this place, not least because it's a small family run business.”

“I would hands down say this is the most affordable Barber shop I've ever been to in London. And they've always consistently given me a great cut and shaved every time. The barbers are mostly African and there's a lot of barbershop banter going on all the time, so your waiting time passes very quickly through all the funny shenanigans. Give it a try if you're anywhere near The Pond at Thornton Heath or if you need a quick trim while at Croydon University Hospital (it's a straight 5 minutes bus ride from the hospital)”
