Chilli Lovers
“This place is fantastic. There is a review that says it’s terrible. Please ignore whatever that review says because that is not even about this place. They don’t even have blue plates! The photos aren’t taken at chilli lovers. They do beautiful food, I have never had bad food from here. If you like your Indian food to actually have some spice and kick this is your place. They’ve just receive 5 stars from food hygiene. Staff are friendly and always happy to recommend dishes suitable to every customer. If spice isn’t for you then let them know and they will accommodate you. My partners mum can’t handle spice but we told the staff this and they made sure her meal was fine for her to eat. If you are in the area, or can have this delivered I would thoroughly recommend. It’s now my go to curry house and I recommend to everyone!”
Nice N Spice Wembley
“Great value for money compared to others. Get in early if you want soup ...it seems to fly . Rice n Peas n Oxtail is my go to and it never fails.Lunch time it can be busy so order to collect or be prepared to wait.!”
Surrey Palace
“One of the best curry houses I’ve been to in a while. Lamb chops to start, very tasty, with lamb korai main, which was well spiced and incredible. The breads were nice and crispy and good selection of dips for the poppadoms. Kingfisher on draft. Very friendly staff as well, would visit again and recommend”
Kashmir Restaurant
“Can safely say this is one of - if not the best - curry I've had for years. Absolutely will return. Utterly charming staff, wonderfully flavoured food, relaxed atmosphere...if there were a winning formula for a restaurant, these guys have absolutely nailed it. Thanks to the team!”
The Frying Pan Takeaway
“Good food at good price don’t miss out I ordered food with instructions they were spot on .”

Jaipur of Chigwell
“Ordered a take out meal last night from Jaipur Chigwell. Excellent meal exactly as we ordered and arrived hot, although we had to wait nearly an hour, this wasn't a problem to us and was explained before we ordered. We have visited the restaurant many times but don't order take out very often. We weren't disappointed and will definitely order take out again, hopefully soon, maybe visit the restaurant!”
Jalsha Tandoori 2
“I’ve eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants but this is by far the best experience I’ve ever had. We had googled “best Indian near me” and this came up. I’m usually quite skeptical but it 100% lived up to the reviews. Friendly staff , absolutely delicious dishes, fast service and very clean! We initially planned on ordering to go but as soon as we walked in the door, the staff were so welcoming and friendly, we decided to eat in. We were served by Naz, Customer service was very good! Dishes were flavourful and reasonably priced. We ordered 3 starters (King prawn puri and lamb chops were my favs) 2 mains (lamb rogan Josh was 10/10), 5 sides (pershwari naan x3 & seasoned potatoes were the stars of the show)and 6 drinks and I couldn’t believe how cheap the bill! Unlike most restaurants in london, they didn’t add the 20% gratuity so please be sure to leave a tip if you enjoy the service. I would definitely be coming back.”
Base Camp Lounge & Restaurant

Daakoo
“Delivery only, we phoned and ordered and received the food around 35 minutes later. We had the muttar paneer and lamb vindaloo, both were really tasty though a bit sweeter (and the vindaloo was less spicy) than we are used to. The standout item was the Masala Chilli Moggo which had the most incredible flavour, absolutely delicious. Would order again just for that!”
RAJAH ROWING (CLAPHAM KITCHEN)
“It’s the best Indian takeaway food I have ever tried and the people who work in there is amazing! Every time I come in they are welcoming and happy to see you ! Lots of companies need to learn from them about customer service. Shame my partner doesn’t eat coriander as I need and some time I need to loose on full flavours:)”
Papa-dum
“I happened upon this gem and so glad I did! The staff were so kind and helpful! The food was incredible! I wish I could have tried the entire menu! My server recommended the chai and Pau Bhaji which I would also recommend. The spices and flavors in everything were impeccable.”
Raj of Islington
“Delicious! Generous portion, fair price, and have a wide range of vegan options available (below are Saag Bhaji - cooked spinach and Tadka Dal - cooked yellow lentils). The staff is very friendly too. Would definitely go back.”
Crispy Dosa Wood Green
“Best thali I've ever had! We were very excited to see a South Indian restaurant open in Turnpike Lane since missing the incredible food of Kerela. Wow does Crispy Dosa meet our expectations! The food is incredible. Today we had the Diwali special thali with my favourite being the paneer butter masala, fennegreek potatoes, and rice pudding. I can also recommend the Nilgiri Masala and Mysore Dosa which is perfectly spiced and crispy with accompanying chutneys. Exactly what you want in a dosa. The decor is thoughtful and the chai is delicious. If you're looking for authentic delicious Indian food at a very reasonable price, this place would be right up your street.”
Dishoom Canary Wharf
“I am a big fan of Dishoom for many years now and have tried all branches around the UK. This is their newest and closest to me, so I gave it a go today. I was very happy with the atmosphere and the food was consistently as good as always! The front door are super nice and helpful. The service was not as good though. Not big problems but few mistakes.”
The Wanstead Kitchen
“Food was great as always, ate in for the first time after ordering from them normally. There really only enough space in the restaurant for a small group, but would still recommend it. The staff are all great and accomodating. Worth noting that it's a dry restaurant, but we brought our own, which they were fine with.”
Cinnamon
“Had a lovely meal here, we were seated quickly and drinks order taken promptly. The waiters were Friendly and helpful. Our food arrived and it was very tasty and hot. I would recommend a visit, you should book a table as it's very popular.”
Rice Box
“What a find. Tries for the second time and have to say by the best local Indian by far. Don't know why it has taken us so long to try. Gorgeous rich non greasy meal. The chicken Tika Bhuna is to die for and as for the onion bahji simply gorgeous. Avoid at your peril, support this great loc business.”
Chai Khana
“They have huge variety of freshly prepared tea and cakes. It’s a family run business, everything is being homemade and tastes authentic. Their pink tea is the best I had in long time so highly recommended. Karak chai is different and tastes amazing. Also tried kheer and cakes which are good to try. Located on Hendon high street next to Hendon mosque and Aladin restaurant, plenty of parking options in nearby streets.”
JAPANASE DAILY FRESH SUSHI
“We love this place so much. Friendly, speedy service and most importantly delicious food. The Bhutani Lamb isn't like any other curry we've had,and is quite possibly the best we've ever tasted. We get it every time now, with the sag paneer. That's delicious too!”

“I don’t know even know where to start, this place makes the best takeaway food, the chicken tikka wraps are just heavenly, amazing with fresh Nan. The chicken is just so fresh and juicy. You just don’t want it to finish, that’s how good it is. Best quality food, the staff are amazing, very kind, specially the uncle who works there. My favourite food place in Kingston. Keep it up.”
