“Went over the weekend for brunch. 1st time here even though I don't live too far from it. I very rarely give 5 star reviews, but this place just ticks all the boxes. Food is tasty and well presented, good choice of hot and cold drinks, and the flat white was probably the best I've ever had, so smooth and creamy. The owner came around to our table asking if everything was Ok, and she was quite friendly. A very good find despite the building it's in being covered with scaffolding”

To go to a cafe which reminds me of the old ‘greasy spoons’ was a wonderful experience AND it was without the grease-yay! “Went for a meal before the rugby yesterday. Some of the nicest food I’ve had in a restaurant. Starter of lamb koftas was delicious and the main course of steak and ale pie with mash and greens just as good. Unfortunately we had no room left for dessert! Will be back again.”
