“All 21 of us met up here before attending an 80s Disco in The Orchard Theatre. The bar staff were friendly, polite and courteous. An ideal meeting place for pre show or function drinks. Very good facilities and bar area.”

“First time here and we were so impressed with both the food and service. Location is stunning and we took a walk around the lake afterwards. We had the calamari to start with ravioli and chicken for the mains, both delicious. Highly recommend.”

“Ive driven past this little gem for years but recently went in for the first time for a 'baby shower' party. The pub is a fair size and has a wonderfully proportioned function area (which I hear from my friend was free to hire!?). The staff were amazingly welcoming and made me feel as though I was a local punter. Prices were average for the area and all in all, I had a wonderful time. Only thing to watch out for is the carpark at the rear of the pub was overwhelmed, maybe due to the special function that day. I found it easier to park on the road around the corner.”

“Lovely big pub with plenty of space: booths, tables and hi tops. Lots of natural light from the large windows around three sides of the site. Ornate art-deco around the bar with interesting lighting options. Guinness was excellent as was the Doom Bar.”

“Great pub, lovely beer, great people great prices. This place does not charge for parking, you go in and enter your reg on the system for free. See till to try the food but looking forward to it. We go out of our way to visit this pub on our way home from other works because it's one of the best in the area”

“Amazing people, great customer service ,prices are reasonable. Just some customers drinking too much ,and making trouble, maybe security could try to prevent it somehow. I had to run away twice as I felt in danger. Please try to see who can't behave and if they are not behaving properly while intoxitated ,get them out. Otherwise all great, good vibes. “Our regular Chinese takeaway, delivery is usually pretty quick, though this is often dependent on just eat and traffic. The quality is always great and the food is always well wrapped, which helps in keeping hot. After trying most of the local ones, best chinese takeaway in the area.”
