“Absolutely fantastic English pub in the heart of Hounslow. Warm, with a great selection of beers on tap and served from a beautiful wooden bar and a wonderful atmosphere. Food is reasonably priced, generous in portions and tasty. Their sunday roast in particular was freshly made and well worth the price and a small wait. Would highly recommend.”

“Best Indian food in Southwest London. Period. As an Indian myself, the food here is authentic - and not comparable at all to the generic fare served at most curry houses. Standout dishes for me were : - Lamb Nihari - Kheema Pav - Malai Chicken Tikka - Social Chicken Curry Only critique would be the service which can be slow at times, but I'm sure theyll work it out. 100% recommend”

“Ace keg selection - as a dark beer lover in a world of trendy pales it was nice having a non imperial stout on tap! Guys in here are amazing as well, really friendly - place has heart! Hard to find these days Pizzas great, you can maybe get away sharing 2 between 3 but they can box up anything you can't bear to leave behind :)”

“Booked the Boaters for a work Christmas meal and couldn't have been happier with the evening. Staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The food was excellent and the table had been decorated beautifully with crackers! We booked on a Tuesday evening and there was a quiz going on the other side of the pub but this didn't disturb us at all.”

“Honestly, I cannot speak any more highly of this pub. We rented out the upstairs and the staff have been amazing, so helpful and cooperative. The hired room itself was big, classy, beautifully decorated and had a great bar area. Shout out to Bradley for being so helpful and approachable and for Nelly who single handedly ran the bar upstairs for us with a smile.”

“Amazing taste experience. Tried the "Sylheti sizzler" quarter chicken meal. The staff were friendly and food prepared fresh to order. They provided a pot of spicy sauce upon request for free which was absolutely to die for. If you nearby or even are just passing I highly recommend trying a meal here! Top marks. Only one small thing was the canned drinks could do with being refrigerated. Will definitely be back in future to try other menu items as well.”

“My first visit to The Red Lion, I’m ashamed to say, especially as I used to live around the corner for over twelve years!! Anyway, attended tonight for a Rotary Club function, and what I sincerely hope will be our new club meeting venue each week. There were 11 of us tonight, and the food was served to perfection. Portion size is superb. I had the nachos, which was huge, and did me proud. Others ordered various items and were were all equally impressed. My friend sitting next to me had the pork ribs. I swear there was half a pig, and having had to help him, I know what I’m having next time. Staff friendliness and positive attitude is excellent and put the venue we are currently at to shame. With great parking in the road adjacent, and close by, after 6.30pm, as well as the bus service too, with stops almost outside; life just gets better. Oh, free WiFi, pleasant surroundings, and great food (at sensible prices), all make up a perfect package. Will I be back? You bet your life I will, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone.”

“Wow! The burgers were absolutely delicious! We ordered delivery and sadly, some of our order was missing - gave them a call and less than 30 minutes later it was all delivered, AGAIN! Yes, please notice that "again", because not only did they send us the bits originally missing, they resent the whole order and wow, I am definitely delighted, because the food was that good, that getting extras for tomorrow's lunch is a guilty bonus. So good food, good service - deserving of 5 stars.”

“If you want a local pub experience this is it. Got stuck in London after missing a flight and checked this out. Amazing place with no tourists (like myself). Got a true experience of what locals do. Plus they weren’t serving food at the time I got there, but they suggested the Chinese across the road and allowed us to bring it in and drink while ate the food.”

“This is our local Wetherspoons and we love it! We usually order on the app and the drinks arrive quickly! The food is great, we usually have a burger or something from the grill. The desserts are good too, the apple crumble was delicious!”
