Ruth Mark-Roland Psychotherapy

● Closed
51 Great Portland Street, London W1W 7LF, United Kingdom

“Ruth is a therapist that brings a warm smile , a caring energy , a focused approach and a keen ability to verbalize what the root of your pain is. No fluff, no going in circles , she sees clearly, she shares it (we even laugh about it at times), she checks in with questions and the work begins! In the time I have seen Ruth, I notice how the pain that I’ve held for years somehow knows to come up and leave my body while we work together. I’ve referred to our work as “emotional surgery”! Physiologically, I feel my body let go of the pain by sensations that occur, and that’s how I know much is happening. Yes, lots of my childhood stories wrapped in pain surface during our sessions, but I say yes to feeling it all. I believe it’s because I feel safe with her, I trust her, and I sense that she cares about my healing. That’s why I keep working so hard, because she walks alongside me, and she believes in me. Rather than just listen to me talk, Ruth uses tapping (EFT) to help move the energy out of the mind and body. The tapping is a powerful technique that helps release stuck energy, and Ruth intuitively knows how to guide, check in, and target my pain. Ruth is also very knowledgeable and informative about resources that can support my healing in between sessions, which I like. She either tells me about a book, or a great person to follow, or a video to watch, but it all is helpful. The work and healing continues after we are done with our session. What can I say, I am in much gratitude for this therapist with such a big heart for the work she does. There aren’t many of these therapists out there, that I know! Ruth’s genuine care goes a long way in our sessions, and as I make progress in my own world, I reflect on how I was able to move along. My work with Ruth... I reflect on how the little shifts of inner peace and flow are here, how I feel less fear, less upset, less being stuck. Little by little I’m living again, the way I’ve hoped to live for years. Healing is possible. Thank you Ruth, I couldn’t have done this alone. I needed someone to sit with me and unpack years of my stuff, and you have happily and patiently come alongside me on my journey of growth. Gratitude for you always ... Claudia”

Scanlon Psychotherapy, Counselling & Hypnotherapy, East London

● Closed
35 Sandringham Road, London E10 6HJ, United Kingdom

“After 25 years of suffering from migraines and having tried pretty much everything to find a cure, a friend recommended hypnotherapy. I was a bit dubious at first as to how effective this would be but I met Brid with an open mind (excuse the pun). Brid is very inviting and you instantly open up to her. My migraines are totally stress related, I would go through periods when life would be very stressful, even though I would ride through the stress and deal with whatever came my way, I often found it hard to articulate how I felt and sometimes it was a very lonely experience I had a session almost 2 months ago and I still listen to the recording religiously before I go to sleep. It has conditioned me to be a bit more forthright about how i feel about situations and now i am forcing my friends and family to sit up and take notice about how i feel instead of keeping it in and being taken advantage of. Since the therapy, i haven’t had a migraine yet which is a good sign. But if they do come back I know exactly who to call Thanks Brid”

R Hoyte Psychotherapy Services

● Closed
3 - 8 Bolsover Street, London W1W 6AB, United Kingdom

“R Hoyte has supported us as parents in so many different ways. He has opened our thinking and opinions regarding how we raise our son and ensure that we are working as a team and aligning our own experiences and beliefs to raise our son in the most effective and beneficial ways for the whole family. We have been challenged in the best ways, we have had to listen and truly support each other as husband and wife. This has been achieved through small tasks that have had a huge impact on our lives. Not only have we seen positive shifts and changes but we are equipped with tools that allow us to move forward confidently. R Hoyte has awakened our beliefs in being good, confident parents. He allowed us the space to acknowledge this and celebrate this. No one teaches us how to be parents. We rely on our own experiences, the experiences of those close to us and information from a range of sources. R Hoyte's service has supported us through a time when we were questioning ourselves, questioning the education system and just at a loss to understanding the best methods and steps that would take us forward together as a strong family unit. We thank him, we have a new out look on why therapy matters and needs to be embraced and the benefits of going on such a journey together. We would highly recommend this service.”

Inscape Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy & Counselling Harley Street

● Closed
250C Noak Hill Road, Billericay CM12 9UP, United Kingdom

“When making the first enquiry, I found Emma sounded really friendly and knowledgeable and this influenced me to make the jump and book with her. When I arrived for the first appointment, I found her welcoming and as friendly as she sounded on the phone. She and the surrounds put me totally at ease with the process, as I did not know what to expect and was extremely nervous. I was taken into a calm and cosy room which gave me a feeling of being in a calmer world, totally shut off from the chaos of what was going on in my life at the moment. I found the process of hypnosis, not what I imagined. I was aware of everything that was being said, but felt very relaxed and a sensation of floating. It felt so nice that I didn’t want the session to end, as I felt relaxed and stress free. I had felt very tired and exhausted emotionally and physically for a very long time, but on waking from the hypnosis, I felt rejuvenated and raring to go and emotionally stronger. This got better and better with each treatment and I now make decisions and cope with stressful situations in a much better way. I would not hesitate to recommend Emma’s services, as they have been greatly beneficial to me and my life. I am now contemplating sorting out other issues with my weight and booking a further package, as I have seen how quickly the results can impact my life for the better!”

Ruskin Gardens Counselling & Psychotherapy

111 Ruskin Gardens, Harrow HA3 9PY, United Kingdom

“I have had the pleasure to have Steve assist me with some work on my inner landscape recently as part of my counselling qualification. As a team, Steve and I carefully tended to the sensitive areas that needed TLC and celebrated the areas in full bloom. The man clearly knows his onions from his parsnips. He struck me as well-informed, gentle, diverse, experienced, flexible, trusting and trust-worthy. I felt in expert hands.”
