“I had my surgery for a total left hip replacement at west Middlesex hospital on the 5th August 2020. Arjuna was my surgeon and looked after me with his team from day 1. I was the first day surgery case patient for a total hip replacement at the hospital (which is exploring new ways of working given the Covid environment backdrop). My personal experience with the team at west Middlesex has been fantastic and I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a great unit and indeed a great surgeon / consultant for surgery. The initial consultation for sign off for surgery, the pre - operative assessment and talking through the surgery procedure were all carried out with a high level of due care and clinical excellence. I felt as a patient that the over riding priority was achieving a great clinical outcome for me and my surgery. The day of the surgery was very well co ordinated and went smoothly. Admission was straightforward, I was administered local Anaesthetic and the surgery took around 2 hours. I arrived at 7.30am and was discharged around 7pm the same day. Just brilliant. Since discharge I have been in constant contact with Arjuna and the team and the physio unit. I have also had two follow up appointments where Arjuna has held office himself directly. I am now nearly 7 weeks post surgery and progressing well and will be back to see In 3 months time for an assessment and x ray on the new joint. Thank you to Arjuna and the whole west Middlesex team for their care and passion. They have cleverly demonstrated the high value of keeping these important services local. “This company is simply amazing. We had a really complex kitchen project and had been to six kitchen companies and their corresponding designers to get a design done (some cheaper, some significantly more expensive than Interior Design Concepts). Our impression was always the same: their input was limited and, as we learn about kitchen constraints, they always had mistakes in the design that if we hadn’t notice it would have been a disaster. With Lily (IDC designer) everything was different. She started asking for “hard constraints” (ie budget amongst other things) and unlike others who would push that in the end, Lily didn’t. She worked with that and spent enormous amounts of time looking at alternatives that would create a beautiful but full of functionality design whilst still keeping the constraints. But it didn’t finish there. When it came to installing the kitchen she followed everything from beginning to end. I lost count of how many times she came to the house to check. By the way, the installer she sent, Mario, was excellent too. At some point they even realised our builder had made two obvious mistakes with the electrics (something the builder rather than them should have known!). It was too late to correct them but she was the one who came up with alternatives that would anyway make the whole project work. Anyway, as a final word: Lily is amazing, we ended up with a beautiful kitchen (that was worth waiting for) and she took away from me enormous amounts of headaches. 10 out of 10”
