“Wonderful brunch with friends here on Sunday. They have plenty of seating, some fantastic breakfast/brunch options and really speedy and friendly service. Coffee was also good so we were very impressed with our visit and will definitely return to check out the champagne brunch deal (any breakfast dish, glass of champagne and juice or coffee for £17.95) Tip- if you’re driving into town then it’s best to park at the Castle Street or Sydenham Road car park and wander down to the restaurant.”

“The hotel is an amazing large old building with lots of nooks and crannies. Great garden. Looks a good venue to have a wedding. Food is good in the restaurant and service is good but can be a bit slow. This is tucked away from the main road.”

The bar team provided me with honey, lemon and mint (in hot water) for my sore throat, and it worked extremely well. I also seemed to lose my credit card on the sofas; however, fortunately the bar manager found it and rushed to return it to me before I left the building. She's really grown in confidence in her time with them. Pheonix Youth Productions is run by lovely talented people who inspire an impressive degree of commitment from all of their attendees. Their performances are of a very high standard and really impressive. Our daughter has been really proud to be part of them.”
