Bushey Grove Leisure Centre
“I needed to join a gym and fortunately have a considerable choice around me. This is the one I have chosen for several reasons: large, airy, latest machines, cleanliness and staff friendliness and assistance were some. Easy parking and price together with loads of other facilities convinced me that this was the one for me and so far, the correct decision.”
Killerwhales Swim Club of Havering
“My daughter loves this swimming club. They have experienced some tough times with the lockdown and are now trying very hard to get back to normal. The coaches are tough but fair and are very encouraging. My daughter was very discouraged when she first returned to swimming, after a break of nearly 3 months her times were obviously much slower. One of the coaches took time before the lesson to really encourage her. I think this shows great commitment and belief in what you are doing to help children when they feel uncertain. Since joing the club my daughter is now the fastest swimmer in her school. Well done all.”
Gold's Gym
“Nice service. Great possibilities... 2 gyms, large and smaller. Available swimming pool, wet and dry sauna, jacuzzi. Classes available for membership... membership alone is cheap for this offer now around £34 a month. the only problem is the decor ... And sometimes the issue of cleanliness but I report it to the manager and they work. overall highly recommend”
Aqua Style Swimming
“My children have swimming lessons with Aqua Style....and.....love it. The instructors are very professional... the lessons are fun....when you reach a certain level the lessons increase to 1hour..... Pool and changing area are clean and well kept.”

Donyngs Leisure Centre
“I visit the soft play at Donyngs regularly with my 2 little ones. It is considerably cheaper than other local soft plays and is absolutely fantastic! The equipment is in excellent condition and there is lots for the kids to play on and with. I would recommend a visit.”
Aquilla Health & Fitness Club
“I'm a member here, and I love it. For me this is a perfect place to work out and swim. Yes there are sometimes children having swimming lessons, but if I can ignore it (I have sensory issues with noise) then you can too. Anna and the rest of the staff are a delight, they are friendly and helpful. The only change I'd like is longer hours, I'd like you to open 24/7 but that's because I'm an insomniac who wants to swim at 3am...”
The Quad Club
“I highly recommend Louise for a massage ! She’s amazing. Really nice place to relax. Also had really good cocktails at the bar of the hotel”
Chingford Leisure Centre
“Nice swimming pool I'm registered in and got my membership card and inside the area it's very beautiful I liked and very nice personal”
Gold’s Gym
“I love this gym! The facilities are top-notch, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Mustafa, the receptionist, is outstanding – he goes above and beyond to help all members feel welcome and supported. And if you need a post-workout pick-me-up, the cafe inside the gym serves some of the best coffee and healthy snacks around. Highly recommend this gym – and Mustafa and the cafe – for an exceptional fitness experience!”
Spelthorne Waterski Club
Hillingdon Lido
“Used to be a bit of an icebox but now heated to a comfortable 23° year round. Great place for a swim, and reasonably priced (considering the cost of heating) at £7 for residents”
Achieve Lifestyle, Addlestone Health & Fitness
“Very clean gym and equipment. Great range of classes for all levels. Staff are supper friendly and supportive.”
Canons Leisure Centre Mitcham
“Attended for a karate tournament. Staff very helpful and even though the place is dated they seem to do their very best to look after it.”
Tolworth Recreation Centre
“The centre has gone through some great renovations and is looking great. The new softplay area is just fantastic! Highly recommended for any children aged 0-8 yo. And it's relatively cheap for under 3's (only £2 for a 2 hour session)”
Tandridge Leisure Centre
“Clean facilities with cleaning stations provided in the gym. Staff not always in the gym but easy to find someone at the front desk if needed. Swimming pool changing areas are usually fairly clean but not always perfect but what else can you expect when so many people visit every day because it’s such a great pool! Worth visiting with children or families, there’s a nice cafe here too. Solo swimming also good availability as swimming lanes are often open and separate from the open swimming side.”
Waddon Leisure Centre
“My first time back in the gym for a good few years. The receptionist was amazing and very helpful with my bombardment of questions. Even though I only used the pool for my first visit, I will deffo go back there for the sake of the pool, but have yet to try there gym area. Cant wait for my next visit.”
Impulse Leisure - Belhus Park
“Plenty of choice of things to help you work out, clean and tidy around the pool, gym and changing rooms”
Wandsworth Swimming Club
“Great swimming club now expanding membership from 6/7 years old through to teens.”
Balham Leisure Centre
“This is such a good gym with great facilities. Time spent here today was well spent. I can not give anything but a 5star.”
Downham Health & Leisure Centre
“Been at the leisure centre for 2 months now and it's been nothing but brilliant! Big spacious gym with a wide range of equipment. Free weight area could be bigger as I often can't find an opportunity to jump in. There can also be groups of younger people who gather around the equipment just chatting and not really doing much (saw one young couple kissing for about ten minutes by one of the stations) which can clog up areas for large amounts of time, but this isn't the leisure centres fault. Tried a body pump class last week and really enjoyed it plus the pool is a nice added bonus. All in all its great value for money and the 1life add ons and virtual work outs are great too. It's the most motivated I've been at a gym and feel like it's the gym for me. Staff are always friendly and helpful too.”
Maidstone Leisure Centre
“It was a fab afternoon. I went with my daughter and two grandsons. One of them has been learning to swim there with his school. He has been six times and I was shocked at how well he can swim. I'm am so proud how far he has come. So it was lovely to see him swim so confidently. One super proud nanny here.”
Clapham Leisure Centre
“This was the first time I'd been there since it was rebuilt ten years or so ago; we used to go years ago when our daughter was learning to swim. I was very impressed; a friendly welcome from Reception, a clean changing area with proper lockers (you need a £1 coin or a trolley token to use them), step-free access to both pools and to the changing area. The slow swimming lane is the one nearest the steps, and during these sessions, the "deep end" is only 1.5 metres, which I find easy to stand up in. The only downside was that it wasn't easy to find the loos if you didn't know where they were! I will definitely go back, probably next week. ETA 18 November 2022: Delighted to find they have put small shelves in the showers, so one no longer has to grovel on the floor for one's shampoo or shower gel. Thank you, whosever idea that was!”
Brixton Recreation Centre
“Situated just a block away from Brixton tube station. The complex is huge and wide range of activities available. We go and play badminton here regularly, would definitely try other activities too..”
