Kensington Memorial Park
● Closed“This is a lovely park. Perfect for all ages. My family and I were lucky enough to stumble upon some amazing performances when we visited last Saturday 20/8/22. We managed to watch one all the way through...it was called 'Timeless'. My grandsons really enjoyed it. As did my son and daughter in law. The park over all is lovely and has a cute kittle cafe too. We didn't actually go to the water jets on Saturday but my grandsons who kive local go very frequently as they live locally. It is a lovely place with ample areas to chill and play. Defo worth a visit if you are in the area. No shaded areas however...which won't be suitable for everyone.”

Upside Down House – Lakeside
● Closed“This was a great experience for me and my family. All of us enjoyed it. Very creative and a good photo opportunity. I need to mention about the lady at the ticket counter as well. She was very friendly and simply awesome. She gave some tips on how to take good pictures here and even took some pics of the family herself. That was very kind of her and I honestly haven't seen very many friendly people like that recently. I was stupid and forgot to ask her name. It wouldn't be an overstatement to say that she made this experience very enjoyable for us. People like this are an asset to the establishment. Please do give it a shot if you are around Lakeside. More importantly, spend a few min to figure out how to take good photos here. Cheers Barani”

Little Apples Day Nursery
● Closed20 Sanderstead Road, South Croydon CR2 0PA, United Kingdom“My son joined Little Apples at 14 months old and quickly settled in, largely down to the friendly and caring staff. Each morning we are greeted with a warm smile and each afternoon at pick up we are told what he did that day and what his response was to that activity. Throughout the day we can see what he is up to using the Blossoms app, where his general progress is recorded and well as developmental milestone tracking and praise. We genuinely feel relaxed when our son is at Little Apples and therefore made the easy decision to enrol our youngest child there too (he starts in a few months). We feel very lucky to have found such a great nursery for our boys; knowing we can go to work and have peace of mind that they are having fun, learning and kept safe.”

Streatham Common
● Open“We strolled, at gaudy Vapor trailed sunset, past the iridescent fun fair, permanently locked into a pastiche of the 1990s. The southern path, furthest from the noise and exhaust fumes of the two urban dual carriageways, sees impromptu family parties being held, with gazebos, camping chairs, food to share. Lazing and chatting in the luxurious ebbing heatwave evening. Like ‘76, the worn sections of the pathways lose their grass cover to the west and tear of joggers and walkers, then the bare clay beneath splits open as it is exposed to the overly hot, climate change heat. We sit at the top of the rise, and the plaque on the bench points out Rose Hill, in front of it St Helier Hospital, both barely visible now that the evening comes to an end and warm night approaches. I like this place.”

Croydon Road Recreation Ground
● Open319 Croydon Road, Beckenham BR3 3FD, United Kingdom“Great place to catch a breath after work or just have a quiet walk in the evening. Plenty of benches to have a sit and read a book or contemplate life Park smells fantastic in the evening mid May ,when various plants start blossoming. Even during a sunny days , it doesn't get too busy. If u play tennis ,there are 8 courts at your disposal (you have to buy a membership which is only a small annual fee). Annoying things are dog owners that let their dogs run freely everywhere without leash - it shouldn't be allowed ( some time ago one dog grabbed my sandwich and the owner lady found it funny)”
