“Jan was absolutely brilliant, she was super responsive and easy to get a hold of. My cat isn’t going exactly super good at travelling to new places. As soon as we met Jan she started to calm her down and make her feel at ease. Once the grooming started my cat loved it, Jan was so gentle and delicate with her. Jam thoroughly brush her out and made her look absolutely amazing! She also gave us some brilliant advice on how to keep her coat looking nice. Thank you so much, Jan!”

All the staff have always been caring, kind, attentive and professional, and have always provided the best care to both my animals and myself. I have always received a sympathy card from them, when I have lost one of my pets, which is so lovely. “Jo is fabulous! My dog was slightly nervous as it was her first time there and we were due to have the full works (wash, trim, cut nails, clean ears). Jo met me outside with facemasks and kept socially distant which was fantastic. She listened to the history of my rescue dog and then got to work. Jo then kindly dropped my my dog back home by getting the dog in the car(!), something which the dog is a little fearful of. Even with all the possible stress factors of the experience, my dog looked so happy when she got home and kept asking Jo to stroke her! This has never happened with a groomer!! I'm so delighted with the work Jo had done on my dog and the dog still smells amazing even after a few days. The price was really reasonable too! I feel so lucky to have Itchy n Scratchy Poochie Parlour on my doorstep. I will DEFINITELY be taking my dog back again!”

“My spaniel has been going to Barkers every 8 weeks since 12 weeks old, she is now 3.5 years. She is now accompanied by her half brother who is 1 yr old and had been going to Barkers since 14 weeks old. I cannot praise Barkers highly enough. The team are so friendly and knowledgable. They do exactly what you want and thoroughly care for your dog during the visit. The trimming is consistently high standard and my two dogs always look (smell & feel)superb after their pamper sessions. I have seen them handle a very nervous dog with such care and patience. They have been part of the foundation of Brookmans Park for over 10 years and care about their standard, customers and community with everyday they work and every member of the team takes such pride with each and every furry friend that comes through their door. I particularly appreciate how accommodating and flexible they are as they understands plans can changed, appointments may be cancelled or I might get stuck and can't collect my boys on time, they have never charged a fee for this or taken a deposit which I understand other places to (which i understand). I highly recommend this grooming parlour and look forward to being a customer of theirs for another 15 years and more!”
