GSL Education Watford
● Closed“I have enjoyed my experience with the team so far, most especially my compliance officer, Nush. His timely updates on my shifts, check up on my journey and to get my feedback with my experience after work with every school. Above all, Nush appears very kind and polite with his engagement with not only myself, but colleagues I have recommended for work also. I’m grateful to GSL for the opportunity to work together.”

Super Steps Nursery
● Closed“Super Steps Nursery made the UK feel like home in an instant! Aamir & the teachers welcomed our 2yr old daughter immediately. They made it easy, flexible, and accessible right from the start and all along. And they adapted activities so our daughter could catch up and improve her English. We are delighted to see her grow and develop at Super Steps, and so happy we could count on this nursery in these troubled times.”

Edge Grove School
● Closed“Our daughter (now in year 8) has been at Edge Grove since year 6 having spent all her previous schooling in the French system. We joined the school at a time when the new headmaster, Me Evans, was still putting in place his vision, but we felt that he knew exactly what he was wanting to do, and we completely bought into that vision. We have not been disappointed. The pastoral care has been first rate, particularly helping our daughter in the transition to a British Independent school. From what we have seen, any pastoral issues are dealt with speedily and sensitively. Great emphasis is put on politeness and creating the right environment for learning, whilst enjoying everything that the school has to offer. The education curriculum is innovative, supportive and stretching, and the school is doing a fantastic job of supporting all year 8 pupils in preparation for CE, truly differentiating based on the schools they are applying to and the exams they will be taking. Extra-curriculum activities are great too - the Director of Music is fantastic and the improvement in the quality of all school music activities has been marked, while the head of girls' games is really raising the bar too. Staff go beyond what one might expect and respond rapidly and helpfully to any questions or concerns. The parent community is friendly and welcoming. The school certainly deserves its recent rating of Excellent in all regards from the Independent Schools Inspection. I highly recommend the school to any prospective parent.”

Inclusive Multi Academy Trust
● Open““Inspiring our children and community to be the very best that they can be!” As a Trustee I feel really privileged and proud to be involved in this journey. “Inclusive” is not only our name but core to everything we do to help our community fulfil the hopes and dreams of our children. Every day our 3 Watford primary schools – Beechfield, Cherry Tree and Laurance Haines work closely together to create great opportunities which inspire our pupils to learn and develop skills to adapt and succeed in our ever changing world. Each school is very much a part of the local community with its own distinct characteristics and curriculum –we don’t believe that one size fits all but a nurturing philosophy underlines everything we do. As part of a group of schools we provide opportunities for our children to participate and share in exciting projects across the schools – whether sporting, outdoors or creative - for example our art display in Watford Museum or the more recent song written and performed to celebrate and thank Covid-19 key workers. Supporting our people to succeed is a core belief and strength – we are lucky to include former pupils among our teaching staff! Working together enables the sharing and development of best practice whilst addressing workload too. Good career progression is available across the Trust schools. “if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together – African Proverb”

St Margaret's School
● Closed“My daughter joined the junior school in year 3 and I really wasn't sure if i had made the right decision when she was in year 4. But now under the formidable leadership and vision of Ms Lara Péchard and Mrs Gray. I feel more reassured and my daughter is very happy. Ms Lara Péchard has made significant changes across the senior and junior school, this has had a very positive impact on teachers, parents but most importantly the pupils. With the right leadership, you can't go wrong. SMB has so much to offer, and we have seen so may new students, with an increasingly waiting list. The only way is up so 5/5”

Yavneh College
● Closed“Two of my children went to Yavneh - one was in the first intake when Yavneh opened under the auspices of Dr Coleman. The school had a positive impact on my children, especially my daughter who thrived under the kindness and care of the teachers - with high academic results. My son has become a fiercely independent individual who thinks for himself and has set himself high standards which he follows through on. This is partly due to the education and ethos of this school.”
