“Very nice takeaway pizza and bruschetta! This is the first time we order from this place and we were really impressed with the quality of the food and value for money. Also the lady on the phone was really polite, which is not so common these days. Will definitely order again!”

“Visited for the first time on a Wednesday evening as a group of 4 friends, with the purpose of seeing Rob Lamberti (who is the best George Michael/Wham tribute act out there-that’s a whole other review!) This venue is like a tardis, with a long/ split ground floor level, large function room and a contemporary outside seated area too, with and 3 bars in total. Spotlessly clean, with an very aesthetically pleasing decor. The whole venue must be newly refurbished as nothing looks tired or worn and there are very stylish black and white pictures of famous faces covering all of the walls. The bar staff are super friendly and very welcoming and the owner Christine is just a delight! We left after a very pleasant 4 hours feeling like we had made a new friend. The house Prosecco was delicious and the pizza’s served in the function room were perfectly cooked, reasonable in price and arrived promptly. Wholeheartedly recommend this venue, if we lived more locally I know we would be regulars. Parking was easy for us as we found a space in the station a 30 second walk away, but otherwise it is street parking. There are large TV’s there showing all of the must see sporting action too. The venue was absolutely buzzing and a very good evening was had by all! Wednesday is definitely our new Friday after a visit to the Seasons bar this week!”

“We have always enjoyed a Sunday dinner at Miller and Carter! The staff is really friendly, service is quick! Food is amazingly delicious! I am really impressed by the duck they offer - it’s a must try! The atmosphere is cosy. We tried their cocktails - they were also okay. Parking is available - all you have to do is register your car when entering the restaurant. If you are a fan of steak - then this is the right place for you!”

“I recently had the pleasure of trying the pizzas from Woodhouse Pizza, and I am so glad that I did! The pizza was some of the best I have ever had - the fresh ingredients made the pizza taste amazing, and the bread base was really delicious. Fantastic portion, lovely warm buttered bread, chips, a nice salad what more could I ask for? I requested to make the Menemen spicy and they made it to my taste and it was sublime. Will definitely come back and be a regular. I ask others, if you want a Turkish slap up breakfast in Woodford, you must come here. It will remind you of the Med and you will be extremely pleased.”

“This is my second time using this hair salon the first was only a style 12 yrs ago for a tie back fancy hair bun, but I had a wash/cut recently. I am from the Caribbean with Black/Native Indian curly, wavy, bushy hair mix and Lucy done a fantastic job. She actively listened to what I wanted done and also gave me recommended advice. Lucy also has curly hair so I felt comfy and in good hands. I have my follow-up trim already booked.”

“These guys at Serdars barbers are nothing but amazing each and every single one of them, they all spend an hour or over perfecting your trim, I leave there looking fresh and the woman who gives your face,arms and shoulders a gentle massage is amazing.
