“Some of the best pizza I've had in London for an absolute steal of a price. Menu had lots of choice, the turnaround was rapid and the man serving us couldn't have been more friendly. Can't recommend highly enough!”

“Excellent pizza! This new discovered pizzeria surprised me with an authentic pizza romana hard to find in London. The pizza is thin, and crispy unlike the also good but chewier classic Neapolitan pizza found everywhere in London. I suggest you give it a try. The pizzeria is very nice with a secret garden in the back. Worth a visit!”

“The best place for toasted sandwiches with dietary requirements! They offered a meal deal with a drink which in my case was a Peach nectar and everything was delicious! I would definitely recommend to anyone and would go back again! P.S. The added bonus is the owner of the cafe produces her own aromatic coffee beans which are making the best creamy espresso I've seen in this country!”

“Football has Messi, basketball has Michael Jordan. Cooking has Richard. This man can do things with an oven that would make Gordon Ramsay question if he’s in the right field of employment. We visited on Sunday for a roast and let me tell you, ol’ Rick knows his way around a piece of beef. Our generation may have been born too late to discover the world and too early to discover outer space, but we’ve been born at exactly the right moment to enjoy a delicious meal at Richard’s Kitchen.”

“Visited last week with some friends from work as we all attended some training in Watford, and so glad we chose to dine here. The service was incredible, with the staff being very attentive and friendly, ensuring everything was to our liking and having little jokes with us. The food was absolutely fantastic! I wish I could have eaten more! The portions are great sizes for the price, and the starters, mains, and desserts all tasted amazing. I also highly recommend the espresso martini! With us dining on work expense, we asked if we could split the bill for what each of us owed, and the staff were more than accommodating to allow us to do that, and to say we each only had a budget of £35, we got a lot for our money! Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait for my next trip to Watford to visit again!”

Maurizio always makes us feel so welcome and we always get great service. We had a lovely valentines meal here last night and despite the restaurant being very busy the food and service was on point as usual. “Genuine food, in purely sicilian setup. This is a family run business and the owner is putting his passion and face in it. They even sell a beer from an award winning microbrewery from Messina, a must drink. We loved every dishes. Pizza, pasta al forno, antipasto e tiramisù. Recommended”

“I came here for breakfast with my friend for her birthday and the staff took time out of their busy morning to sing happy birthday to her and light a candle on a cake! They were very accommodating. I come here frequently and the coffee is perfect, I’m very particular on my coffee and this place does amazing coffee! “I’m Italian and super picky when it comes to food. There aren’t that many Italian restaurants in London I would eat at but Don Luigi is one of them. It’s truly traditional, delicious, home made Italian food with a modern twist. We are so lucky to have this restaurant as our local!”

“As an experienced diner who regularly eats at Al la Carte restaurants every Saturday evening I was lucky to come across Giacomos when searching for somewhere different to try. Crisp white linen table cloths were greatly appreciated as so many restaurants think it is trendy to eat from formica tables despite claiming to be high end. Since our first visit during which we could not fault a single thing we immediately booked to come back within the next two weeks. The staff are friendly and attentive, but not intrusive, and the food is good quality beautifully cooked. At the time there was a small party celebrating a birthday who were all enjoying themselves and from an onlooker received excellent service throughout right down to the end of their meal when they were served champagne. This week we discussed how lovely the lighting is, not too bright but a warm glow. I have eaten every variety of meat they have on the menu. The liver, veal. steak and lamb were all cooked to perfection. It is also nice to see people made an effort in the way they dressed which not only showed respect for the restaurant but for other diners. Who wants to see workman's jeans when you have dressed suitably for a lovely evening meal in stylish surroundings, keep them for the burger bar. .”

“A lovely small authentic Mexican restaurant and cocktail bar hidden down some stairs in the north end of Dalston. They have a small number of dishes, including tacos, enchiladas, huarache, huevos rancheros etc. that they do extremely well. They also do excellent cocktails including margaritas of course, as well as a large range of tequila, mezcal and sotol. A great place to bring your kids for lunch and friends for drinks later in the day! Main dishes are about £11 as are the cocktails so not super expensive either. Well worth a visit.”

“Travelled down from Glasgow for a midweek AllyPally gig and found this little gem of a restaurant. Food and service were superb ……. and the 3 course pre theatre menu was very reasonably priced. We arrived at 1800hrs and it was busy, we left at 1915 and it was full. I’d recommend booking a table in advance to avoid disappointment. 100% recommended.”

“Just had takeaway from here, both their vegetarian pizzas. Both excellent, tomato sauce packed with flavour and superb crust - and this was their takeaway. I will definitely be coming back for an actual sit-down meal. Well done and I hope to see you soon!”

“Napolitan owned restaurant! The pizza looks amazing! As a vegan I had as a starter the vegan breaded vegan mac and cheese gazette was the best vegan thing on their menu and I took the vegan salad. The salad was okay nothing special. In terms of vegan options there is 2 or 3 options but not very elaborated apart from this fantastic vegan mac and cheese. The service is good - the place is well cosy and is almost as crowded as central London. Booking recommended in evenings and weekends. Ps: Both waitresses are amazing especially the one with blue eyes. We.recommend the fruity red wine.”

“Had an amazing family meal at Cacio e Pepe early Saturday evening on 31/07/21. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The food could not be faulted. In fact, the only fault I could possibly find would be that the starter portions are FAR too generous. We will certainly be sharing starters on our next visit. Very varied menu and everything we had was cooked spot on. Cannot comment on the deserts as we were far too full to even look at the desert menu. All in all a fantastic and authentic Italian restaurant to have on your doorstep.”

“Love this local restaurant! The service is amazing. You’re always greeted with a warm, happy and helpful welcome. The food is delicious. Made fresh to order and arrives quickly. It’s so nice to be able to go and eat in again but the takeaway service they provided in lockdown was fabulous! I also love a takeaway coffee when working from home. Couldn’t ask for a better restaurant right at the end of my road!”
