They actually have taps on the tables with iPads where you can fill up your own cocktails or beers, what a super concept! The decor is sublime as it gives the impression you are in a holiday destination rather than in a pub in Blackfen. The icing on the cake was when I went to the ladies. Never have I ever been in an establishment where sanitary products, perfume and hair spray are provided, without the looky looky lady! I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you”

The staff was lovely, the service impeccable, the ambiance very intimate and the seats comfortable. The food was great from start to finish. We ordered the tartare and pork cracklings as starters, both very nice and the tartare was very well seasoned. The meat was tender, cooked perfectly and very high quality - we had the ribeye and need rump. As a side we ordered the potato dauphinoise and the corn creme brulé (very clever dish in my opinion!). We ended our dinner with a wonderful lemon tart with basil merengues - very light and refreshing and another clever dish in my opinion. We were also offered home made bread and butter, mini Yorkshire pudding with gravy and an homemade limoncello. The meat was a bit expensive perhaps, but it was also very good. We had a wonderful experience, great food and friendly staff. We will be back to try their Sunday roast for sure.”
