“I was going for a stroll in the morning and found this beautiful little coffee place however when I went to pay for the coffee I couldn't work my Google pay on my phone for some reason not to worry they were very understanding and told me not to worry and pay next time I'm coming through which was really nice because you don't get a lot of people like that these days and when I returned to pay for the coffee I was gifted with a homemade cake which was delicious so for the delicious coffee the Welcome Inn energy I received from the people there and the delicious homemade cake I must try place you deserve the five stars”

The biryani also came with two sauces for balance. The prices are very reasonable and I would definitely order them again! The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome even though it was our first time. There were many regulars there too. For a cafe, the food took quite some time to arrive after ordering but this is forgivable given the final quality - I would not want them to rush if it meant sacrificing the taste.”

“Oh my gosh, I have never thought of a cafe in the park being a contender for "nicest cafe in the area" vibe, but this is exactly what Mountsfield Park Cafe is! My favourite cafe in all of Hither Green and Catford. The fact it's in Mountsfield Park is an asset too, I love nature, and the whole vibe is very non-pretentious. Every single staff member is consistantly lovely, so even when I turn up looking a bit rough for wear, I don't feel like i'm not welcome :) Before this cafe, I really wasn't fussed or could taste the difference in coffee, but now i've gone back so many times (because their coffee is delicious) that I can now taste the difference in other cafes ha!! I'm going to move out of Hither Green soon but i've already thought about how I can still regularly come back to this lovely place and park. It's been a really consistant highlight and peaceful thing to do”
