“Anxiety, depression and bereavement I have suffered with all 3 of these issues for a number of years before receiving help from Dominique. I’d had therapy sessions in the past and wasn’t exactly sure how this could be any different - how wrong I was! Dominique first treated me for the bereavement I was suffering badly with. I never thought I could feel the way I do now. The incident that used to almost paralysis me has now morphed into a beautiful recall of my memories. I can revisit that sad day now with love and not devastation. I thought this would be impossible. This is no ordinary therapy this really works. Depression- again Dominique delved into things I had no idea could have caused my issues. She asked questions that I’ve never been asked before in therapy. This was getting to the core of the issue- it was uncomfortable- but Dominique guided me through this with great care and compassion. The exercises put in place to achieve resolution were demonstrated and Dominque actually did these with me as I learnt how to do this,so I never felt awkward at any point. Anxiety was treated alongside the therapy for despession. Dominique has a wondeful way and explained how and why the brain works the way it does- this was wondeful for me as I love to know how the body operates. To summerise my treatment I can honestly say I miss my weekly session. Dominque has been the best therapist I have ever had. “I'd had terrible problems with a pain in my right leg. I'd visited a chiropractor, who following 5 treatments, had left me with continuous pain. I ended up having spinal surgery, due to a prolapsed disc in my L2/3 region. I was reluctant to have anybody else touch my back, following my bad experience. “It's always hard to get good information about doctors because it's such a personal thing. Some people have great experiences and rate 5 stars, and others don't, although they deal with the same staff. I've taken my child to this clinic 4 or 5 times and I've always had good experiences. The doctor takes good notes and can go back and discuss the history of treatements. They also have same day appointments available and they work on a Saturday too. I have a high opinion and respect for the doctor. She is always attentive, provides good advise and takes time to listen to you. I've recommended this clinic to a few of my friends, and they all had good experiences too. I also like that we always see the same doctor, which is how it should be. The doctor already knows us and we know her which increases the level of assurance and trust.”

“I've been a member of the Gym Clinic for around a year and a half and in that time the gym has gone from strength to strength. It is a professionally operated, private gym that caters for both novices and advance trainees. The gym itself has a number of cardio machines including treadmills, spinning bikes, cross trainers, rowing machine and step machine - along with this it has a full range of resistance machines to work every major muscle group. The machines themselves are placed in an organised location and are very accessible to new trainees who may find some free weight exercises quite daunting. The gym also has a boxing ring where classes/ 1-2-1 sessions are held for a variety of trainee levels and ages - a great edition to any gym and gives the members something you won’t find in most privately run places. The free weights area boast 3 benches, an adjustable bench press going from 180 to 90 degrees, dual cable machines with a variety of attachments, a squat rack with optional safety mechanisms and a 3D 'Jones Machine' which offers the safety of a 'Smith Machine' but with lateral movement as well as vertical. Along with these machines there are free weights ranging from 1kg up to 50kg, weight plates from 1.25kg to 25kg and assorted barbells. Lastly there is a small area outside that has a number of punching bags as well as some tyres and sledge hammers so that trainees can try some more unique approaches to cardio/strength training. The kit itself is in fantastic condition, with the cardio and resistance machines being brand new and top of the range - while also being divided into approachable locations so that new members and trainees should not feel any intimidation with using any of the equipment; especially since they all have instructions on how best to use the machines. The members are incredibly friendly, and the gym has a family vibe to it - where people of all levels mix and help create an atmosphere that is both welcoming and pleasant to exercise in. This aspect is certainly something that gives the gym clinic an edge to commercial gyms where most members are anonymous to each other; never really exchanging pleasantries or training experiences - certainly not the case here. Though despite the professional kit the gym carries, it is certainly not a 'male' gym - the membership is split quite evenly between men and women which again helps create an inviting atmosphere. The gym comes with locker facilities as well as 3 small showers that are cleaned regularly. My only criticism would be some of the lockers are faulty and so it can be difficult to find a spare locker from time to time; but this is hardly much of an issue. Overall the gym is a fantastic place to exercise - offering professional trainers, modern kit, a friendly atmosphere and at a modest fee without tying you into a long contract.”

“Yes, possibly the initial consultation at £70 with treatment included is a little expensive, but then if you're in constant pain, anything is worth a try. I had my first treatment and, unlike physio, where I felt better after the treatments, I noticed no difference. However, the following day, my back and nerve pain was dramatically better, unlike after ohysio when the pain usually returned the following day. The pain wasn't completely gone but the difference was dramatic. Now after 3 further treatments I've been able to return to work and am no longer in constant pain. I've even been back to the gym for the first time in two years! The Dr is very knowledgeable and the follow on treatments at £50 an hour are reasonable when compared to physiotherapy and osteopathy. I have quite a severe needle phobia, so for me to attend, much less recommend accuouncture, you can be sure that the treatments are well worth it.”

“Very friendly polite service. I woke up with a horrible pain in my wrist and fore arm and went to the GP twice that week only to be given pain killer... which didn't work. “A wonderful experience with Dr Lin. I have neck pain for couple years. He treated me with fu needle (fast relief) which is supposed to be more efficient than the acupuncture and afterwards I feel much more relaxed. This is amazing.
