Boys & Girls Nursery Rickmansworth
“We are fortunate enough for our daughter to attend Boys and Girls in Rickmansworth and can’t recommend it enough for any local family. At drop-off I always leave reassured that my daughter is in a warm, family-like atmosphere, where she is being well cared for whilst developing. My daughter started when she turned 1 in the Baby room. I have found every member of the Baby room to be really professional and experienced in early childhood development. They have cared so deeply for her and have really take the time to tailor things to her needs to ensure that she was being exposed to things in the best way for her. It was this degree of attention and care that we found to be unique and truly world class in terms of childcare. In the time she has been there she truly has flourished and formed such amazing close bonds with her careers. The facilities are great, they are clean and well planned for the children to get the most out of their time there; the newly developed outside space makes it extra special. As my daughter transitions to the pre-toddler room I have no fear; as I know such a great team will be awaiting to care for her; managed by a fabulous management team.”
Rickmansworth Aquadrome
“You can walk and walk and...... as long or short as you like. Around every corner there's something new. The walk along the canal is a total change to the paths around the lakes. Watch out for loose dogs, a big issue. Excellent free parking. Approach road to the car park is tricky. Turn left at the pub as the sign is virtually hidden. It's in the same road as Tesco. Cafe in the Park has yummy cakes but the wait is ........ too long at peak times so chill'ish. Enjoy”
Ebury Play Area
“Nice play Park for kids, could do with a few more swings only 2 on site, a little take away coffee bar would be good as well, but still enjoyed it and you can walk over the bridge to the big lake, watch waters ports and feed the ducks”
King George V Play Area
“Lovely green spot with a fenced children's playground, bins all around the place, some trees on the side for a shade, a perfect place to walk your dog, keep your kids busy or play some ball.”
Barton Way Play Area
“Excellent facilities for young children with a sandpit integrated with the slide and climbing frames. Plenty of picnic seating and places to lay out a picnic blanket. About 8 parking spaces just outside the perimeter.”
Baldwins Lane Play Area
“A great park with open space, skate park and children's play area.”
Whiskers, Feathers and Fur
“Just brilliant! Natalia looked after our kitten during the summer break. We have never used a service like this but we were so impressed. She really does care for your pet and we had so many photos and videos that we knew he was in safe hands. We will be using her services again and we are more than happy to recommend her to others.”
Canine Countryside Escape
“Lovely people Nevaeh enjoys her time running around in the field and she doesn't get much time to do that but she's ill and she can be quite reactive so it's lovely to see her little smile and the girls and and guys who are there also welcoming xxx”
The White Bear
“First time here and we were really impressed. A great menu with some unusual options and a lot of variety. The portion sizes were very generous and everything we ordered tasted great. They also had Mogo which you usually only find in authentic Indian cuisine.”
Cassiobury Farm and Fishery
“I will always love this farm! Because it’s only open a handful of times a year and because it’s not in the most obvious of places it makes you feel like you’re in some sort of secret society and I love it. I love the fact you can buy feed for 50p and feed a great number of the animals in the farm yard. I also love the number of exotic animals they have for a farm in watford. They have raccoons, artic foxes and my favourites Capybara which is odd for a small farm in a city. I will continue to go to this farm every year for at least one of there open days and highly recommend it to anyone, old, young, family, couples, with young children and without. Everyone will love it.”
Hillside Pre-School Association
“I am very impressed with the quality of care my son is receiving at Hillside. The staff are wonderful - so caring and kind. It feels like leaving my son with family.”
Yorke Mead Primary School
“Wonderful school, academically ok but I think they do well at developing the child ready for learning and life. Brilliantly lead, cross mix of teachers and teaching assistants. Highly recommend.”
