Mill End Community Centre
“Hired Mill End CC for my Son’s 6th Birthday Party. Was able to hire both the Main Hall & the Large Garden which was ideal for a kids birthday party in Summer. Sylwia was a delight to deal with, met us to show us around, and answered any queries we had promptly. Plenty of tables / chairs and space to adequately cater for any number of guests from about 1-30. Use of kitchen to prepare food also very helpful, and I thought the cost of it all was very fair.”
My Kid Atelier
“I had my son's birthday party in this venue. Stuff was very friendly and birthday decoration could be chosen from many type of theme. The price included all of food and drink of children and adult, game, decoration, everything so I felt it's affordable. My son and I was completely satisfied with the party.”

Essex Wildlife Trust, Bedfords Park Nature Discovery Centre
“Great park. Probably the best in the area to be honest. Long walks, great views and a real sense of being away from it all... even though it’s only 5 minutes away from the outskirts of Romford. Oh, plus the deer compound and the secret walled garden. Just to add to the allure!!! Update... they now have some new play equipment near the main car park. Fantastic!”
Maria Montessori Nursery School
“Excellent Montessori. I tried quite a few others but found this the best. Good sized facility and genuinely concerned teachers who invest a lot in each child. My child attended for 1 year before we had to leave for overseas, but I was happy throughout with the care and education. The children are taught in a stimulating yet relaxed environment. The teachers are calm and professional. My daughter enjoyed her time there and I highly recommend this institution.”

Minnie & Mamma Day Nursery Mitcham
“My granddaughter attended this nursery for 4 years until going to school and my grand niece still attends. This is a testament to the quality and professionalism that Minnie and Mamma Nursery offers to parents. The staff are warm and welcoming and look after and nurture the children. As my family grows I’m grateful and comforted to know that my grandson will be looked after well when he joins.”
Ihsan Children's Centre and Nursery
“As a new mother Ihsan Childrens Centre has been an absolute gem. Prior to lockdown, I was invited for baby groups shortly after my son was born and was astonished at how lovely and welcoming the staff were. During lockdown, the caring staff frequently got in touch with me to check in on my wellbeing and sent me care packages for myself and my baby which were so well received. As a new mother in the middle of a pandemic, having that support and care was heart warming and I'm extremely grateful for that. I have been visiting Ihsan weekly since then for Stay and Play Sessions which my 11 month old really enjoys! The staff are welcoming, caring and supportive each week and always try their best to ensure we are happy and go out of their way to provide activities specifically for my sons interests which is touching! Thank you to all the wonderful Staff and Volunteers at Ihsan for making such an unusual time in the world feel safe and for being there for us!”

The food on offer is excellent with lots of variety and a four week menu on rotation (which makes our efforts at home pale in comparison). We have no hesitation in highly recommending Twickenham Park nursery as a childcare provider.”

Ark Oval Primary Academy
“My son is in Reception in this school and I am very pleased with the way the school is running. Staff is really good and always ready to help and one thing that I felt outstanding is the way they have managed during this pandemic - They have gone to all lengths to get this done - by arranging staggered arrivals/departures based on year groups, clear communication to students and parents, managing both online and in session classes for keyworkers' students, arranged oxfordowl account so that children need not bring school books from library, a change in the school uniform strategy (using their standard uniforms, PE uniforms and own clothes on alternate days) and the list just goes on. Staff provided honest reviews and feedback about kids and they always set the standards high.A big thank you to the entire team!”
Lancasterian Primary School
“I went to this school in the early 70's :) as did my brothers, Paul & Ray Taylor :) - great memories of this place - Mr Gordon, the scariest teacher but he got great results - separate playgrounds and going on the field in the Summer :) - the sweet shop across the road - and when it was your birthday you and anyone else with a birthday that week, got to stand at the front of the assembly holding this round wooden circle thing with candles burning while everyone sang happy birthday - health and safety eat your heart out”
Chapel End Junior Academy
“Two brilliant children all the way through from Reception & Infants at the adjoining Infants school to Yrs 3, 4, 5 & 6 at this excellent school, first now thriving at secondary. So good in fact, I volunteered as a Parent Governor 5 or more years ago to support it's great efforts in the community, and it's gone from strength to strength. Don't believe Ofsted, this is an OUTSTANDING school and no mistake. Don't believe me? Go in for a visit yourself.”
Chadwell Heath Nursery
“This nursery is amazing and is like a second home to my son. He first started in 2015 when he was 1yo and still goes back to the holiday club now he’s in primary school. Great teachers/aunties and great management. They are fantastic with children with additional needs too. Thank u CHNPS x”
Little Apples Day Nursery
“My son joined Little Apples at 14 months old and quickly settled in, largely down to the friendly and caring staff. Each morning we are greeted with a warm smile and each afternoon at pick up we are told what he did that day and what his response was to that activity. Throughout the day we can see what he is up to using the Blossoms app, where his general progress is recorded and well as developmental milestone tracking and praise. We genuinely feel relaxed when our son is at Little Apples and therefore made the easy decision to enrol our youngest child there too (he starts in a few months). We feel very lucky to have found such a great nursery for our boys; knowing we can go to work and have peace of mind that they are having fun, learning and kept safe.”
Angels on the Park Nursery
“My daughter attended here from 10 months to 3 1/2 years old. She was so happy in the setting. Michele does a really good job organising external people to run activities, there was something different for the kids each day. We left due to relocation, it was a real wrench to take her out. She had so may good friends in the staff as well as the children. It really was like her extended family.”
The Willow Children's Centre
“My child has been attending Willow Nursery for over a year now and I have nothing but praise for this establishment. Thanks to the dedicated Baby Room manager and the staff who all work tirelessly to take care of all the children, my son has developed so much. My child was referred to external NHS departments such as Speech and Language, the Childhood Development Centre and Audiology when it was felt that he may need more support and that was as a result of the close work the Baby Room manager and SENCO manager had done with him. The nursery has fantastic resources and equipment such as a sensory room, SEN trained staff, a large playground, toys and books. Honestly, I visited a number of nurseries in the local area and none of them compared. The nursery is diverse as both the children and staff are of different cultures and raves and this is regularly celebrated. Overall, I can say I am extremely happy with Willow Nursery they take very good care of the children, keep parents and families involved and informed in everything they do and there is a real community feel about it. Well done Willow Nursery!!!”
