“It's always hard to get good information about doctors because it's such a personal thing. Some people have great experiences and rate 5 stars, and others don't, although they deal with the same staff. I've taken my child to this clinic 4 or 5 times and I've always had good experiences. The doctor takes good notes and can go back and discuss the history of treatements. They also have same day appointments available and they work on a Saturday too. I have a high opinion and respect for the doctor. She is always attentive, provides good advise and takes time to listen to you. I've recommended this clinic to a few of my friends, and they all had good experiences too. I also like that we always see the same doctor, which is how it should be. The doctor already knows us and we know her which increases the level of assurance and trust.”

There is also storage space, a kitchen and w.c. plus a separate room for talking therapies Everything is well maintained, clean and secure. Ideal for transport links, with ample parking nearby. A variety of therapies on offer to attract new clients and everyone is friendly and supportive towards each other. I have made some good friends and am really happy working from here. “Been at the leisure centre for 2 months now and it's been nothing but brilliant! Big spacious gym with a wide range of equipment. Free weight area could be bigger as I often can't find an opportunity to jump in. There can also be groups of younger people who gather around the equipment just chatting and not really doing much (saw one young couple kissing for about ten minutes by one of the stations) which can clog up areas for large amounts of time, but this isn't the leisure centres fault. Tried a body pump class last week and really enjoyed it plus the pool is a nice added bonus. All in all its great value for money and the 1life add ons and virtual work outs are great too. It's the most motivated I've been at a gym and feel like it's the gym for me. Staff are always friendly and helpful too.”

I contacted a local dental practice in Loughton who were only willing to see my son if he paid via a private consultation however, were kind enough to give me the contact detail of Wanstead Village Dental & Health which accepted NHS patients. I contacted them and they offered my son a same day appointment. They dealt with the matter accordingly sending him away with a consultation and medicine to help the infection. “I had to write as we just had a really positive experience at Carmelita house today and I definitely don't feel that it deserves to have such a low rating on here based on my experience. The staff were welcoming and friendly and respectful and I was pleasantly surprised that we had a 90 minute appointment- this is an incredible chance for staff to really have time to assess, listen, observe etc. We saw Rhys in the OT department who was excellent. He explained things clearly and made excellent suggestions to help my son and me to deal with the issues that brought us there. He was very clear about a plan moving forward. The place was clean and quiet and well equipped to meet our needs. Thank you”
