“I am very happy to be able to order kosher food! My local Sainsbury’s has a very very small selection of kosher supplies (no meat) and Ocado has a few meat options, but not too much. Sabeny brings a whole range of kosher products directly to the door with minimum fuss! The only issues I’ve had are not with Sabeny themselves but DPD, the more fragile food items like yogurts sometimes arrive damaged, but Sabeny are quick to refund them when this happens, even though I don’t even want them to refund them because it wasn’t their fault, I just hope that DPD receive enough complaints that this stops happening. Baruch HaShem for Sabeny! I highly recommend them!”

“Mix grill was one of the best, good value, can be starter for 2 to start with. Chicken Birayani was superb and I also order chicken curry with bone , I would prefere bit more masaladar with green chilli spiced, like Desi Falvor and, it's says ghee may be more brown butter, Garam Desi Flavour Garam Masla and brunt ghee ! Garlic Naan was superb. Papadam and all relish, dips were fantastic, eveything Desi style, my son love the raita, I love that red spicy sauce and tamarind chutney. What you need with chillied Cobra beer and all of this. See you guys again with all of my friends and family. Kudos to Chef and his team.”

“The owner Paul is passionate about customer service and local relationships. I moved to the area around 4 months ago and he made me feel very welcome and I soon made friends as his shop is the hub of social activity just off City Road on a beautiful back street. Great coffee, better food and also has a meeting room downstairs that you can rent for the day.”

“Finally dropped by at the shop at Woodbridge Road, Guildford. Was greeted by Harry, a friendly and very patient young man. Harry was quick to pick up what my preferences are. With nothing in mind of buying anything, I ended by six different bottles Harry recommended. Though I have yet to try the wines bought, it was money happily spent!”

“Excellent selection of beer, cider, wine and spirits. The prices vary, sometimes much better than large supermarkets but sometimes a fair bit more. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, offering free tasting samples of whatever is currently the preferred option (normally gin and a wine). This store also has a better selection than supermarkets, offering some more hard-to-find options.”

“The shop never disappoints..especially when you cannot be bothered to go "no further"! Was great alternative during lockdown 1.0 and now they have a halal butchers inside. Very good cuts of seasoned and unseasonal meats. Lots of fruit and veg, inside and outside the shop. You can top on energy and cards. So hopefully you won't be disappointed.”

There's a sense that the offerings are meticulous curated by the very nice and knowledgeable owner. It's quite normal for a customer to mention a good whiskey off-hand, only to discover it's been stocked a week later. A really good find, worth a visit.”
