“Had kitchen done with Schmidt in Loughton as service is like no other. From design to build was all coordinated by Will, who was courteous, thoughtful and always took the time to explain and respond to all correspondence even after the kitchen was completed. I made last minute changes and this was never an issue. The team used for the build were great. Everything ran to time. I have a small house and a small kitchen, I didn't have to store anything here as it was coordinated and delivered for after the old kitchen was ripped out. George who was the carpenter pays attention to detail and has come by to fix little things that weren't working for me, like how a cabinet door opens/closes. The kitchen is lovely. It cost more than the other kitchens I looked at, but it was worth it for the finish, quality and absolute ease of working with Will at Schmidt and the team he's picked to do the job.”

Two years ago when I first walked through the door I was dealing with chronic illness and multiple physical injuries. I had an intense travel schedule and was living between London and New York. I had worked with multiple trainers in the past but no one compares to Joe and Chess. They both embody and practice what they instill in their clients. Beginning with the simple but effective philosophy of movement is medicine Joe skillfully designed a rehabilitation program to help my body heal and recover. He supported me when I traveled and his recommendations extended to my life style, diet and overall well being. Rather than focusing on the superficial Joe and Chess focus on health, self esteem and an appreciation of the human body and it’s potential. Joe is an incredible, skillful coach and adult educator who knows how to build on success whilst still knowing how to push when needed. Two years later I have thankfully recovered from my chronic illness and I can run in the park with my nieces and nephews and while traveling for work still maintain an exercise routine, even if that means dancing to Chaka Khan in my hotel room. Joe and Chess treat their clients like family, the attention and care they provide to each of their clients is so generous and heartfelt. Hospital told me I’d need steroids to relieve the pain, but Ben made it so much better! Since then I’ve seen him about back problems too and has helped that! “Attended based on a local recommendation. I was not disappointed. Fantastic service by Sam. The barber is under new management from brothers who had previously been at Ted's Grooming Salon. Sam was highly personable and spent a generous amount of time on me. For £28, this included a cut, shave, hot towel, wax was included, ear flaming and a massage. I was very pleased with both the treatments and service. Definitely a city-level experience for a very reasonable price. I'll certainly be back and will be bringing others. Thanks once again Sam!”

With only 4 hours to go until my hen party started, the company I had booked to do my table centre pieces and decor let me down and cancelled. My mum called this florist who we have never used before (but we definitely be using again) to ask if they had any artificial flowers we could use. I quickly drove to their shop and they offered to make me something with what they had in stock using fresh flowers. Well… in just over an hour they created the most STUNNING centre piece that made our table looked like a wedding. I could not believe how beautiful it was. So grateful Vets 4 Pets got us in quickly and easily and the vet that dealt with us was so kind.”

They are now serving Chuck & Brisket, a small menu filled with the absolute best burgers I have tasted. Forget Dead Hippies from Meat Liquor, or Shake Shack. The cheeseburgers here are juicy, mouth-watering and the most delicious brioche meat sandwiches I'vehad in a very long time. The patties taste incredible and are so moist. I couldn't fault it and I was a little sad when it was over. Their skin-on fries transported me to my grandmother's kitchen, for me, a comfort food. I would absolutely come back here, and implore any newcomers and regulars to try their delightful menu, otherwise you would be doing yourself a disservice. You will not regret it.”
