“I had my 60th birthday party at Hudson Place last Saturday. Lisa and her staff were amazing from the organisation to the day of the party. The wine bar is perfect for a party where you can dance or sit in a quieter part of the bar. There is also a courtyard to sit outside if you need. The drinks were served without any waiting. We had Prosecco And beer on arrival and their staff were so attentive making sure your glass was topped up. Cocktails are amazing too. We had 70s disco music which everyone enjoyed.”

“Owner always greet you and friendly, quiet enviroment during day and busy at night. Thai food served here as Joy of Thai restaurant. Good Thai foods and reasonably cheap with portion you can share if you are not that hungry. Lunch served at noon at bar area and evening at top floor separated with bar which busy every evening. During COVID the area set a giant tippy in the garden.”

“Just had the steak and ale pie with seasonal vegetables. The vegetables were French beans.carrots and red cabbage which was the best I’ve had for very long time. I would visit again. My apologies I didn’t take any images, was to engrossed in eating the meal.”

“This is an absolutely fantastic pub for Sunday dinner. The meal was very well prepared and the staff were friendly and answered all of our food allergy questions. I had a traditional Sunday roast which included all the relevant trimmings. The draft beer was also excellent. I would most certainly come back again.
