“Following my cousin's funeral, we held the wake at The Railway. I'd ordered a buffet, tea and coffee for 40 people. We were allocated an area of the pub which was just the right size. The food was all of a good standard, and catered for a variety of tastes - and it was plentiful, so it was good value. The staff were all very helpful. I'm glad I chose The Railway for this occasion.”

“Fantastic food, excellent and prompt service, polite staff and at a reasonable price. This is a great restraunt, and I highly encourage you to go. They were also very understanding of dietary restrictions, and made an excellent vegan pizza for me. The place is certainly child friendly, has what looks like easy access for wheelchairs, and a couple of parking spots outside, though they're not reserved for customers. My only complaint is that I like my pizzas a little more crisp, but I'm sure they would have obliged if I had only told them that.”

“Visited with the family after a number of years absent and we were so glad we went back here. The staff are attentive and friendly, made the kids feel comfortable and adjusted any menu items when we needed to. The veal escalope was cooked very well for my main course and tasted lovely. The family fed and the piano player and singer rounded off a nice evening. Will not be leaving it as long as we did till the next time.”

The Thai Elephant management should be proud of the staff, as Chinese/Thai restaurants are notorious for an impersonal robotic service, however your staff are amiable, attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable (while not being overbearing), and maintaining a professional distance.
