“This place was great! Authentic German restaurant with nice outlook over the river. Wait staff dressed accordingly and everyone was very welcoming. It’s very meat based (as would be expected) but they have some veggie/vegan options which my friends enjoyed. I had sausages, mash and sauerkraut which was yum! And of course all the beer and wine is German too. Recommend booking ahead as it gets busy - but we were luckily able to get a walk-in on a Saturday night. We were in the smoking area outside but no one was actually smoking. Tables are big and good for groups. Will be back!”

“I have bad anxiety and went into Kingston to get a winter coat with my Fiance. It was so busy because of Christmas we went in M and S and John Lewis which where really busy because and couldn’t find anyone to help. We past white stuff and thought we would look around. We met Charlotte who works there. She was lovely and patient. She helped me look and try on coats with no pressure to buy and even suggested there could order a coat if they didn’t have the size. I found a lovely coat and Charlotte said if I changed my mind I could bring it back. I am so happy with my new coat and would definitely go back to that shop. Thank Charlotte.”

“I’am extremely happy with my new kitchen which has exceeded all of my expectations and more of what I wanted my dream kitchen to be. I’ve been waiting a very long time for a new kitchen, designed the way I wanted it. The last time my kitchen was done up, was 25 years ago and was made from a display model on a kitchen showroom that we got cheap. So I had to design it to fit with what we had, which meant I didn’t get the layout I really wanted. Howdens did everything possible to make sure that the kitchen was practical to me and also looked amazing. The very friendly staff at the Kingston depot made the whole process smooth with their knowledge and experience, which I thank them for and can’t recommend them highly enough.”

“Perhaps the best Sunday roast I had in 8y living in the UK. I’ve been there with friends and I ordered the Jacob’s ladder to share. The meat was absolutely phenomenal, incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked (12h slow cook). Each vegetable served with meat (roast potato, carrot and butternut squash purée, etc) was flavourful as well as the Yorkshire pudding. The pub is very nice and it’s located just 5 min away from the old market square in Kingston. Friendly staff, reasonable prices”

“Wow what a place!! Someone on a random whattsapp group told me to give this place a good review. Iv heard no one has been stabbed there which is a great bonus if your bringing the family. Half way through the meal a kindly horse was helping an old Mexican man eat his soup. Tirelessly attempting to scoop up the broth with his big powerful hooves. Wow.”

“Visited this restaurant on Saturday with my sister. We ordered from the lunchtime tapas menu. There was a great variety on offer. Our food was delivered very quickly, was piping hot and fresh. The host and waiters were all friendly and polite. Service was excellent. Highlights were the salt and pepper squid, pork dumplings and Phuket mussels.”

I do like the shop layout, mirrors and furniture; they're lovely and stylish. The look and feel of the place is far from an ordinary shoe shop. I am amazed at the extreme comfort and fit of Hotter's shoes; never have I owned anything so comfortable (I own three pairs). Wide fit shoes are also available which is great if, like me, you struggle to find wide fitting comfortable shoes elsewhere.”

“Came here on a Saturday evening, it was super busy but they had us sat down speedily. The service was attentive, fast, and friendly. I would 100% recommend the calamari, up there with the best I’ve had! The jungle curry is supposedly spicy but it was not spicy at all, and if you’re Bengali, it tastes like a traditional Bengali chicken curry with less spice!”

“Wow!!! This is a fantastic and convenient spot to get sushi whenever you want it. This is because this sushi gourmet place has a large range of options and choice. The choices vary from the simplicity of a Nigiri to salads and big rolls. It has options of small and £10 boxes of nigiri and other sushi rolls and bigger portions of £20 that are more complicated rolls. It has deliveroo as takeaway and delivery service. However, it’s in Sainsbury’s in the centre right at the back of the store. This doesn’t mean that it has a bigger difference on this gourmet style and other Japanese restaurant. It only contains sushi and not brothers or other Japanese dishes as it’s only a Sushi Gourmet. When I go there I always get the nigiri rolls because they’re fresh and simple and also delicious. I’ve also been to other Japanese authentic restaurants and it’s different regarding the taste of the sushi because it’s not a chain but a single restaurant. However it’s not that big of a difference regarding freshness.”
