PopGems® Academy - Performing Arts, Dance & Drama Classes in Beckenham
● Open“My daughter has been attending Pop Gems since the age of 3 years and it has been a great confidence builder for her, she has made great friends and had amazing opportunities to perform in a theatre. They are a great team of teachers who encourage the best out of all the children. They have been amazing with the communication throughout Covid-19, keeping parents and students up to date with changes and recommendations for all to return safely. I have been confident in the return to studios knowing they are going above and beyond to keep everyone safe and up to date with the every changing regulations and guidelines. The Popgems family is warm, accomodating and understanding. A perfect first time social extracurricular that im grateful my daughter is part of.”

Mozart London - Café Bar
● Open“Quirky little cafe-bar. Had a perfectly nice pot of tea and a really good pain chocolat. I was the only customer in and me and the owner Ken spent the whole time chatting, mostly about photography. Many of his are on the walls, along with several other photographers. There's also a lot of music instruments hanging on the walls and ceiling, Mozart-themed chocolates and other gifts (as the name might suggest) imported from Vienna, classical music playing. Overally a nice interesting place to sit and while away some time taking in the overall ambience.”

Yagori Gypsy music & dance group / Gypsydance UK
● Closed“I have started Gypsy dancing last September and i love it. Such a beautiful, colourful and joyful dance that gives the opportunity to truly express oneself. Saeeda provides great classes and teaching, and is always happy to share her knowldege, and to help her students to improve their technique and expression. The classes are very welcoming, with great atmosphere between students. The levels are mixed, that is great to review basics as well as progress quickly. Highly recommended to any student (M/F) new to dancing or trained dancer who wants to learn a new style and challenge him/herself, and above all share the joy of dancing :)”

Wilton's Music Hall
● Closed“Excellent venue to see a show. More importantly, a pint of Amstel was a very reasonable £5.20 and a portion of fries £3.50. The seats aren't the comfiest and are pretty small and close together, but it's an old historic building so I'll let them off! From glancing around around the theatre, it didn't seem like any of the seats sold as restricted view online would be that bad at all.”
-
London Coliseum
● Closed“A historical London theatre with great decorations in central London. I came to see the Nutcracker with my mum this year! We sit on the upper circle. The view was good and no restrictions. But the legroom is quite squashed cause it won’t have enough space. The Nutcracker show was fabulous! Will definitely watch again another Christmas time!”

Wicked The Musical
● Closed17 Wilton Road, London SW1V 1LG, United Kingdom“Outstanding performance! We were sat at the middle of circle where we could see the faces and emotions of the actors clearly. The band played really well and all the performers are just fantastic. Worth every penny. Expect drinks and food to be pricey but it’s the experience that counts”

South London Theatre
● Closed“A wonderful small theatre right next to west Norwood station. The building itself is rather impressive itself and internally it is rustic and fits in with the building itself. The bar downstairs was welcoming and homely and despite an issue with their cellar, they had a reasonable selection available. The auditorium has a good rake on the seating meaning that I didn't feel too subconscious that I was blocking the person sitting behind me, but not too steep that it makes it a bad viewing angle for the audience. I will definitely be adding this to the list of theatres I keep an eye out on what's going on at.”

The Fighting Cocks Bar & Venue
● Closed56 Old London Road, Kingston Upon Thames KT2 6QA, United Kingdom“Great bar! The staff were amazing, friendly and fun! Not the biggest place but had lots of fun.”

-
Blue Harbour London
● Closed“Amazed by this find in the centre of Bromley. I always feel like it’s quite difficult to find a good fresh fish restaurant in London and surroundings: they all tend to deep fry everything and that’s annoying. The Blue Harbour offers a good selection of sea delicacy, big enough portions and a lovely service from the staff. We had a warm welcome as soon as we crossed the door and it didn’t stop until we left. The menu offers a good selection of fish as well as shellfish and seafood with an add on of steak for those who also can’t give up meat! Admirable selection of wines too. Overall it’s a bit pricy, however considering the quality of the food and it’s freshness I do think it’s fair. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and come back for the halibut!!”
-
Ace Cafe London
● Open“As ever, bloody brilliant. Really good food quickly served. Staff are friendly, engaged and polite. It's always clean and there's always a friendly bunch of people there. Lots of bikes out front and the Ace seems to have the ability to knock away the armour of the typical Londoner to the point of friendliness - especially if the conversation is about a nice bike in the car park.”

Tattoo Society London
● Closed“I got both my nostrils pierced by Maddie and she was amazing! Really talked me through the process and explained a lot. Constant making sure I was okay and felt fine. Maddie also gave me advice on my other existing piercings that had developed keloids. Keloids are almost impossible to get rid of yourself but Maddie gave me amazing advice and they have shrunk so much! Definitely going back to her for a consultation for my other piercings and for any future ones! MADDIE IS A GENIUS!!!!!! Piercing Goddess ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

SUSHISAMBA London
● Closed“The place is gorgeous, the views would’ve been if it hadn’t been a foggy day as well The food is spot on, they made a mistake with our order but they recognised quickly and were very nice and apologetic about it. The large menu is A LOT of food, so make sure you are hungry! We went for a drink outside after the meal, and although I wasn’t personally very keen on the choice, my party LOVED them! Wide range and knowledge bar staff was key. Overall the food and the experience was spot on”
