Sidcup fish bar
● Open182 Halfway Street, Sidcup DA15 8DJ, United Kingdom“Under new ownership the last few weeks, and now the food is fresh and really high quality, the batter has a lovely crunch and the cod really light and fresh. Cash only at the mo, but the owner said once it gets busy he will start accepting card. Very friendly owner. Let's hope the standard stays as high as it is at the moment. Will be back.”

The Halfway House Craft Pub
● Open188c Halfway Street, Sidcup DA15 8DJ, United Kingdom“Very lovely place, I haven't been there in a few years and it's all changed. (For the better), they now have a lovely outside space and a heated seating area. Good choice of beer, cider, gin. Good atmosphere, they also serve coffee during the day. Dogs are welcome which is brilliant, and the family that run it are lovely. Rachel is a proper laugh. All in all its a great place and I will be going back.”

Staff helpful and welcoming, we stayed further along the road at the Travelodge so this place was ideal for a night cap, then breakfast in the mornings. Spotlessly clean first thing in the morning! The White Cross Inn
● Open“Great family pub which I have now been going to for the past four years. Since the pub had new owners the food has improved 100%. The staff are warm and welcoming and don't rush you,and if they have time will spend more time chatting to you. Part of the pub goes back to the 17th century with log or coal fire place.Lovely and cosy in winter or Christmas time.plus there are no games or music machines. Great for going with friends and family for a quite get togethers. They now have a wonderful outside sitting and eating area, which was beautiful during last summer heatwave.”

Black Boy
● Open“Good little local pub. A little hard to find but good traditional boozer. No frills but constantly trying to improve and entertain its regulars. Not ideal place to take a first date but great for a bit of sports watching and male bonding. No food available but often free bar snacks are supplied by the staff. Parking easy. Great seafood stall outside.”
