“The food was amazing and fresh. The service was great. There was ten adults and at least ten children so you can imagine how loud our group was. The staff dealt with us professionally courteously and they were great with the kids. The portions were a good size and we had so much left over. The taste of the fresh food was on point. “Unavu kitchen catered few of our family events since last year. The food was authentic and delicious. Recently, we were pleased to have unavu kitchen on my husband's bday party. All our guests were enjoyed the freshly made hoppers and kottu rotti. Their service was excellent and staffs were very friendly. We will definitely hire unavu kitchen for more events in the future.”

“I have been there about 5 times over the years. My last visit exceeded my expectations. Prevoulsy I had found the food to be well cooked but slightly underwhelming (read: bland). On sunday I had one of the best curries that I have eaten in years. Other members of our party made similar comments. I am looking forward to my return visit.”

“The Gate is a really good place to visit. We had dinner they on a Saturday night. We had booked in advance, so a table has been reserved for us. The menu is really good, with a really good variety to choose from, including a separate vegan/vegetarian menu. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the menu gives really good variety for money, including the drinks menu. We started with the vegetarian chili nachos which were delicious and made a really nice change from the traditional meat version. We will definitely go back again.”
