“My daughter is attending SInclair House School since September 2014 and we are very happy of our choice. She was offered a place in other 2 indipendent schools and in 2015 also in the french school and we have decided to keep her at SHS: we have never regret it! she is learning a lot (also compared to other children attending indipendent school in London), in a small class group and she has gain self confidence and discipline. I also have to underline that school equipment is constantly updated and in very good conditions, teachers are very motivated and seriously ingaged to offer a personalised learning to every child. I highly recomend this school.”

“My daughter has been at this nursery for nearly 2 years now and we couldn't be happier. She loves going and has built a strong relationship with all teachers and solid friendships with the children. The setting is peaceful, bright and spacious and has an enclosed garden at the back. They have plenty of learning materials all neatly organised on lower shelves, and divided by activity - which gives the children the chance to independently choose what they wish to do, play and then tidy up after. Independence is a key skill that they children get to develop at this nursery. The teachers are all very caring and well prepared in the Montessori curriculum, and they always go the extra mile to support the children. There is a yoga class weekly (beautifully designed with poses and other sensory experiences - touch, test etc) and weekly baking. It's a mixed-age nursery which gives younger children the possibility to look up at older children and learning from them, as well as for the older children to be role models for the younger ones. A wide range of activities is always available for the children to choose from and teachers support the children based on their choices. Being in her second year, my daughter is now more interested in reading, writing and maths and this is all wonderfully supported by the teachers, leading to some very good results.The nursery loves to involve families in the children' journeys and there are lots of activities organised in this sense: sports days, stay and play sessions, parents coming in to demonstrate on specific topics, Christmas and summer get-together etc. It's been very common in these 2 years hearing my daughter discussing with a wealth of details volcanoes, planets, life cycles of frogs, chickens etc. - all topics discussed at group time where the teachers don't only explain things but are able to encourage children curiosity. When the children leave the nursery (after a beautiful farewell ceremony), they are very well prepared to start the primary school journey.”

We visited many nurseries in and around Ilford but found Maytime Montessori Nursery - Valentines Park, a very very special one for our little boy. Maytime is Ofsted "Outstanding" rated nursery. This initially attracted us. The location of nursery in the park is something special about the nursery. While going, my son enjoys seeing trees, birds and squirrels. Nursery has lots of toys and furniture enough to engage children in various activities. Children are closely monitored and parents are informed about over all behavior. Very friendly and supportive staff. They are always available over phone or email. I always got response email. Regular home work kept my little one busy at home. I am happy to see my son narrating what he did at school after coming home. His vocabulary improved considerably. Over all we are very happy. I give five star rating to this nursery. All the best.”

“My daughter had a wonderful experience at Newpark (Wandsworth town). The way the teachers cared, cuddled and supported her was beyond everything I was hoping for. The communication between the nursery and home was very good, the food really delicious (always encouraging the kiddos to try new things). The nursery has a garden where the kids can attend to gardening lessons, harvest what they planted and even making delicious meals out of it. My daughter needs were always well accommodated (introvert child) and she soared high full of confident and became more of what she already was because the teachers supported her. “Rosewood Montessori Nursery are amazing, we have been with them for 6 months and when discovered how great they were with our oldest boy we brought our youngest to them too. “I can't recommend enough this nursery. They helped my son so much. When he joined the nursery, he barely talked as he had speech delay. The nursery helped him with one to one support, this lead him to get the help he needed. Then Sonya started pushing me to get Logan checked by the Paediatrician, while she started my son review to get EHCP in place before he went to primary school. My son got his EHCP in place when he started his reception year. Even his teacher said he was blessed with an amazing nursery as they said it was rare for kids to get EHCP in place that early. They had an amazing teacher named Ms. Hetal, she was amazing towards my son. Sadly, she resigned in the middle of school terms. But i will still recommend this nursery, the other teachers was amazing.”

“The Managers are so accommodating and all practitioners make the environment very warming, safe for preschoolers to feel very comfortable... with this setting it makes the children enjoy going to school; increasing the children's social skills and learning through play increases dramatically. “Little Fingers is an amazing nursery where our daughter has flourished. Our one-year-old daughter has been going there for just under a year and is very happy there.The nursery does a series of activities throughout the day which our daughter loves such as singing and story telling. The staff at the nursery are very thoughtful and caring. The nursery is very inclusive and throughout the year a number of activities are observed such as Diwali, pancake day, christmas concerts etc. The food is of excellent quality and our daughter seems to eat more at nursery then anywhere else. The children also bake cakes on a regular basis to bring home. The staff turnover is low which is great for consistency. I would highly recommend this nursery.”

“My daughter has been at Orpington montessori for over a year now and loves it there. She has never once been reluctant to go in, the opposite infact and has a great relationship with all the staff there, regardless of whether or not they are her key worker. The staff are attentive and helpful, children have so many different opportunities given to them and my daughter has made loads of progress in her phonics and writing which is entirely down to the work they do with her. Even when they changed the school day to a 3.30 finish which we couldn't manage, they were flexible and allowed us to continue with an earlier pick up as those were the hours we had already signed up for, with no charge. We haven't got a bad word to say about Orpington Montessori and had a great feel for it from the first time we visited. I recommend this preschool to everyone we know who lives locally and choose to drive to take my daughter there over more local options.”
