Shoryu Ramen Kensington
● Open190 Kensington High Street, London W8 7RG, United Kingdom“Really good ramen. Simple menu with good options of main dishes and also sides, including two types of takoyaki. There are few set menus also available including drinks. Really friendly staff. The portions are generous and you can also ask for a refill of ramen noodles for a little price. Highly recommended.”

● Closed“Absolitely incredible food! Loved it! The staff are very polite and helpful and know key japanese phrases which make it a nice experience :) the food was of REALLY good quality and we got tickets with sake pairings too. We had 5 different sakes (never had sake before) and theh were sooo smooth! Actually asked for the name and brand of them so we could buy a bottle too. Would come back 100%! P. S. Booked a chef table experience for this place through "design my night".”

Tonkotsu Battersea
● Open“Amazing ramen at a decent price point. The restaurant was quite small but there was a long queue so I’d definitely recommend going there a bit earlier. The staff were extremely friendly and there was even a jar of chili oil from their own house brand that we could try and there was an option to purchase it if you wanted to”

SHIBUYA SOHO
● Open“We came to try the Bingsu (shaved ice, actually a Korean dessert) and were really happy with it. We tried the Kinako Bingsu. It had a pleasant amount of sweetness from the condensed milk and Azuki bean paste with some nuttiness from the Kinako (roasted soy flour). I would definitely recommend anyone to try this dessert. It's very different from regular ice cream. Imagine eating a fluffy pile of snow with subtle sweetness. The Oreo croffel (croissant+waffle) was quite nice, too! Since we wanted to sit down and the place is well visited, we waited for 15 mins, which was fine for us. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was simple but nice, even though it's quite a small space.”

ICHI Sushi & Sashimi Bar
● Open“Excellent food, miso soup is a must! Really good service. Best views of the Big Ben.”

Koya Ko Hackney
● Open“Gyu Don: The beef was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. Chilli oil doesn't make sense at first, but the peppercorns really enhanced the meaty flavors, while the spring onions kept things light. Beef juices flow down to the rice, which is authentic to Asian culture. (Just one thing, if the chef is reading this, what are the cashews doing there?) Kitsune: The udon noodles are slightly hard to the bite, and the fish stock could be more flavorful. However the abundance of finely chopped green onions and the piece of fresh, quality tofu made up for this Japanese working class staple.”

Its mainly to go but if you can choose to dine in too, make sure you ask them to heat it up for soups and they will gladly do it. Sushi is fresh and yummilicious. It looks out to the high street and good for people watching. Btw, you need to clear up after you have finished.”
