“This was my first time of using The Modern Furniture Company. We ordered all of our dining room furniture from here and Nick was extremely helpful in assisting us in choosing the right table, chairs and sideboard. Delivery lead time was really good (6-7 weeks) as all furniture is made to order and was far quicker than other companies like Dansk were offering (excess of 14 weeks). All furniture was delivered and constructed on site by 3 people who took great care to keep the dining room clean and tidy and can highly recommend them especially when you consider just how heavy some of this furniture is. Overall, great experience, great service and will be using them in the future for any other furniture needs. The furniture they sell here really is top top quality.”

“Wonderful service, prompt with a smile, and really nice options on the menu. We ended up here somewhat by accident after the Grufalo trial and booked a table purely based on reviews. Although it was about 15 minutes away I'd say it was worth the drive. We had the double stacked friend chicken burger, pear and walnut salad, ribs for starter and the meringue which was a perfect summer dessert. Good vegetarian options as well. They cater well for outside bookings and are also well setup post Covid. Lovely pub, lovely people in a lovely area.”

I cannot express how helpful the staff were in arranging the booking and arranging for dietary requirements and on the day how friendly and helpful they all were. The afternoon tea was so lovely and the atmosphere at Marygreen Manor was warm and so Christmassy. Would definitely recommend coming here for any special occasion. The host, Gary Pryce, is a true professional, getting as many singers on as humanly possible, while giving supportive encouragement to anyone who has felt a bit nervous.
