“This was the first time attending. I went for a friends wedding reception meal; it was really nice; the food was well cooked and served quickly. I was full and was satisfied with the portions; their platters are huge and can feed at least 6 people. I will definitely revisit. The majority was grilled food and their salad was amazing!”

“Great little Turkish discovery in the area. Run and managed by the owners, this restaurant offers up a range of culinary Turkish treats cooked perfectly. Service is excellent and highly commended. Parking is a little challenging in the area but it is well worth the trouble. Highly recommend if you're in the area.”

“A really lovely family run restaurant. The food is one of the best Turkish food we have had in London. The portion sizes are generous and all taste absolutely incredible. We spent time speaking with the owners, and they have been there 34years and you can tell they are still as passionate now as they were when they first opened. As locals we have been a few times and will absolutely be returning. So many more tasty things to try one then menus. 5*/5* for sure.”

It was a bit surprising that Google maps shows it as Italian given that the menu items weren't Italian except for pizza. Perhaps the menu has changed. “Got there 30 mins ahead of our booking, place was very busy on a Friday night, and our table was still reserved for us. The food was amazing, and we had a wonderful server, forgot her name sadly. We order two platters (1 platter serves for 2) which was enough for 5 of us. Overall, a very good night!”

“Great food, good portions, fast and polite service and a good price. Mangal has nailed the key attributes a good restaurant should have (and that many much more expensive ones fail to). Even when there was a mistake on my order the waiter was very apologetic and gave me an extra portion even though I told him it was ok. The Turkish tea at the end was a great touch!
