“Visited here in December 2021 for a Xmas dinner. What a treat this was, dining experience is excellent as not only do you have the choice of sushi and large selection of other starters (including the rare Takoyaki, which is difficult to find) but also a bbq grill where you can cook marinated meats. I would highly recommend visiting and ordering the house special sushi which has eel, absolutely mind blowing.”

“Everything was impeccable at Kampai. I came with a large party and we ordered so many different items off of the menu and absolutely everything was delicious . I really have to recommend the yum salmon and spicy gesos but I have to say everything was great. Normally I much prefer nigiri over sashimi but the fish quality is to a high standard and all the sashimi and sushi is delicious . The taro ice cream dessert is a must try too. Service was fast and staff were friendly , I would definitely recommend .”

“This place bets their all on the food and it definitely pays off. The food is simply of a tier that is rare to find in London; compared to other high-end Japanese places, the quality and complexity of Takahashi’s dishes really shows. We ordered the omakase and all the dishes were very thoughtful and elegantly showcased the Japanese style. Sushi in particular was as good as you get in Japan. Also very competitive in terms of value. Decor and service is simple and a complement to the cuisine - no need for over-the-top extras here.”

“Absolutely loved the food! We had the shared starter platter and for mains tried the fettuccine and steaks. All of the food was amazing and both Veronica and the chef made our visit even better! Extremely lovely service and welcome. I had an amazing time and definitely recommend the ribeye steak with port and mushroom sauce!”

“Beautiful new restaurant in harrow Sudbury Hill harrow. Couldn’t get enough of the sizzler mix they call, mixture of different kebabs. You must try that. Kabuli palo was very delicious. Will be back soon. Thank you for the nice evening taste of watan.”

“A great find. The food was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. Whilst I have eaten in Persian restaurants before this seemed to a cut above. We ate in and it was pretty quiet but then it was 2.30pm on a Monday in January. Even then the food was fresh, moist and delicious. We shared a starter of Aubergine and walnut with amazing bread (Kashnk Bademjan) for mains we had slow cooked lamb neck with excellent rice. (Baghali Polo) Tender and tasty together with a first for us, Dizi a traditional lamp chick pea and veg stew in an earthenware pot (Which we got to take home) that you crush then roll in bread with fresh herbs and pickles - eating the liquid as a soup. Divine. I can't say if it is authentic but I get the feeling it is. I can say it is definitely great food and generous portions. Highly recommended”

“Authentic gem and a great find. Came across this place and caught my attention as it was clearly the busiest of all market stalls with a constant queue of people. After trying their food, I understand why! Food was cooked to order so was fresh and hot. I recommend the rice with pork. Banh mi was also great. Could do with more tables and chairs but only because it is so busy, but for all the right reasons.”

“Lovely new shop. They open at 10:00 but we were outside much earlier and without hesitation the lady unlocked the front door to let us in. Italian and Japanese deli. Everything looked fresh and the smells were making me hungry. We bought some pasta and sauces to give as a gift. We will go back for more and will try the tasting evenings they have.”

“Honestly the best falafel wraps in london. So much choice too. The sumac chips always go down a treat. They take their sweet time to make the wraps but all done fresh and it's well worth the wait.”

“I discovered this place by coincidence for the simple fact that I recently moved to the area. It's difficult to describe with words how much I love it. Everything is beyond perfection and make this one of the best restaurants in London if you want atmosphere, great food and great service ... all at a very reasonable price. I haven't tried all dishes yet but so far I was blown away by the Bamia (OKRA) and the Awaze Tibsi. I'm really fascinated by the vernacular decor of the place, which really makes you feel like you just stepped in Eritrea. The background songs are all beautiful (it made me discover the artist Abrar Osman!). And, nevertheless, the people are so welcoming and make you really feel at home, both the restaurateurs and the loyal clients. A special mention to Jordanos for introducing me to the dishes and for generally being nice and chatty. Couldn't recommend it more!”

“This place has always had great Turkish style kebabs. (Proper lamb, for instance, not that cheap "plastic" stuff.) And not too expensive, either! Always friendly staff. A few seats inside. And I like the ambiance to the wooden shack. Enjoy your Kebab waiting for your bus at the back of Finsbury Park Station!”

“This is the highest quality restaurant in Holloway without a doubt. We held a group event here for over 20 people and it was all excellent, with lovely staff, great atmosphere and most of all very good quality meat and fish. We particularly like the seabass in addition to all the lovely steaks.”

“Amazing restaurant & a very high standard of food quality. I went with a friend and was met with lovely staff who make you feel very welcome and very attentive where needed. My family are from Corfu, Greece and I spent a lot of time there. The authentic flavours reminded me of being back! Beautiful decor and spotlessly clean (covid friendly). Plenty of Mediterranean food choices along with lovely wine & cocktails. We had complimentary pitta bread & tzatziki, grilled prawns with garlic, whole sea-bass and fillet of sea-bass! “An absolutely delightful restaurant near West Dulwich. We went here on a Friday evening and from start to finish the whole experience was wonderful. The staff are all very friendly, professional, and have a thorough understanding of the menu. The restaurant itself looks great and finds a good balance of being modern and minimal while being cozy and intimate. The food is some of the best Indian food I’ve had. From the popadoms with selection of dips (the berry based chutney was fantastic in particular), to the starters (the aubergine with venison managed to hit every flavour I wanted in a mouthful, with sweet, smokey, and heat all in perfect balance), to the mains (the murgh makhani was a delight, and the lamb shank was truly cooked and spiced to perfection). If you like Indian food and want a special evening in Dulwich, then Heritage will not disappoint. A truly delight!”
