“Best Turkish in Essex! Been eating here for years and never had a bad meal. The bread is the best I’ve ever had; so deliciously seasoned and their homemade chilli sauce is incredible! Highly recommend ordering the hummus kuvurma. Mains are very large, would recommend sharing 1 between 2 people, or if you order your own and can’t finish it, ask for a takeaway box. My go-to main is the sarma chicken beyti; absolutely delicious! I forgot to take a picture because I was too excited to eat it, but I’ll be sure to get a picture next time I go and update this review.”

“First visit, parking for 5 or 6 cars in front but we managed to park easily on the opposite side of the road (care - some spaces are double yellow lines). Recommended by a friend and I add my recommendation to hers. Choice and quality of food superb, up there with the very best we've had. Recommend lamb shanks and mixed grill, but everything looked and tasted great. Didn't have a starter and just as well as portions were a good size. Had a poppadom each instead and even the dips were excellent. Try the lime pickle with chickpeas, excellent. Price was very reasonable, 3 beers and a bottle of wine between 4, main course and sides, about £25 a head. Don't be put off by a couple of surly waiters, with food this good you can suffer a little bit of moody service. Oh, and they had run out of Cobra Zero so the driver had to move on the water, also no Baileys for the complimentary drink, but can't really allow that to detract from the high quality of the food. We'll be back!”

“We booked a table of 13 for my Mums surprise 50th birthday lunch yesterday. Kane was our server.. he was a hard working, friendly and helpful person who provided an excellent service during our stay.. he is truly an asset to your company. We were able to turn up a little early to display a little party decor which was great. The food was delicious and fun was had by all. Would definitely recommend to others and we will definitely be returning in future!”

“Ordered from Ped’s during lockdown and it was delicious so I was so excited to see he was opening a local restaurant. Authentic Neapolitan style pizza. Fresh ingredients. Amazing dough. Fast service. Good value and a nice gin and tonic! The garlic bread with pesto mayo is a winner as is the chocolate pizza for afters. I can also recommend putting the hot honey on everything it’s delicious. So lucky to have this in the neighbourhood, will definitely be back.”

“Honestly would give more stars if I could. Placed my order for the first time here because of a promotion on Deliveroo and never ordered sushi from anyone else. The sushi is always so fresh and well made, and the menu is creative as well. The last time I ordered was a couple of days ago and man I wish I’d taken pictures because the time and attention to garnish was amazing. The sushi was seasoned to perfection too. They really outdid themselves. I also went to pick up an order once with my partner and the staff is super nice. On Deliveroo they handle their own delivery and the drivers always greet you with a smile and are very polite. Best sushi in the area in my opinion!”

“These guys are just amazing. The food is made in a clean kitchen and their service is one that makes you want to go back. The best part, is of course, their food. The bagels are delicious and the variety of ingredients could satisfy even the most picky person. They showed great flexibility both when I ate in and when I ordered.”

“Amazing pizza and wonderful service. The moment you walk in you get the feeling its a family business and it feels cosy and welcoming. We ordered in person and took a takeaway home (lockdown means we cannot eat in at the moment!) But as soon as we are able to, we will go to eat in too. Service was quick, pleasant and attentive. The cafe has a friendly happy upbeat vibe with a varied menu for eating in or take away. The homemade cakes are really lovely and the large slice of cake is very fresh, moist and really good value. I've used the buffet service for parties, get together, funerals etc. The buffet is packed in covered dishes and everything is fresh and as tasty as the cafe menu and excellent value for money. “Held my daughter's naming ceremony here and the service we received right from the first contact was brilliant. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient and always on hand when needed whilst giving us the space we needed to make the room our own . The food was really tasty with a great selection of sandwiches and savoury items. The cake was really yummy and there was plenty of it. There was plenty of tea and coffee too for all of our guests The room was clean bright and spacious and decorated beautifully with access to the outside patio and play area and we were able to bring our dog who enjoyed it as much as we did. I would really recommend hiring the room for your function as the staff made the whole process as pleasurable and stress free as possible leaving us time to enjoy our daughters special day. “Great park. Probably the best in the area to be honest. Long walks, great views and a real sense of being away from it all... even though it’s only 5 minutes away from the outskirts of Romford. Oh, plus the deer compound and the secret walled garden. Just to add to the allure!!! Update... they now have some new play equipment near the main car park. Fantastic!”
