I was offered a drink a number of times and was provided with one quickly. The boy who washed my hair was a good conversationalist, but knew when not to chat. John cut my hair very well and was clearly very skilled. He looked at my hair like he was in awe and gave me many compliments - which was lovely! He gave me many ideas and made me feel confident enough to try a new style.
