“Great place! Lovely selection and great quality fruit and veg. Staff are friendly and only too happy to help.”
Amathus Muswell Hill
“Fabulous selection of wines, champagnes and cigars. Excellent customer service and top recommendations!”
Wapping Wines
“This place has a great selection of fine wines and spirits (Isle of Harris Gin is directly brought in from Scotland and is amazing). Also a great local store in general, helped me source some booze they don’t normally stock, and got it in for me especially right before Christmas. Top man.”
Arele's kosher wine and spirits - Israeli Wine
“Top service! I went in the store and right from the begining I felt like I came to the right place. Arela helped me with all my inquiries, I wanted specifically some Israeli wines and Arela helped me throughout the process and as well guided me on the online website.”
Mr. Steak
“Not only did I thoroughly enjoy my experience at Mr. Steak, but even my children loved it! The staff were incredibly accommodating to our family, and the quality of the food was exceptional. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the sides were delicious. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a family-friendly steakhouse.”
Bee and Berry’s Dog Groomers and Pet Supplies
“I would give more stars if I could… Professional and friendly, my Luna loves and trusts all of the ladies. She always comes out looking and smelling amazing. I couldn’t recommend this dog groomers enough.”
Martil Cafe
“We had a wonderful brunch at the Martil cafe in Croydon. The food was delicious and well presented! Generous portions and reasonably priced. The staff there were very friendly and made it a pleasant quick stop for some lunch! We ordered the Martil’s smash and eggs florentine- absolutely loved trying both!”
Stumper & Fielding
“It was a pleasure to stumple across this shop. My partner & I were not looking for 2 jackets back in September but we couldn't resist purchasing 1 each & a few other bits & pieces to take back to Perth, Australia. Do yourself a favour & pop in & meet Darren for a chin wag & let him look after you. Top bloke. We'll return 1 day.... Cheers, Matt & Regina”
The Aubrey
“What an experience. By far the best service we’ve had in London restaurant. Service was exceptional and the waiters were knowledgeable. All dishes were cooked to perfection. Cocktails were not the best in my opinion but this is just a personal taste. They were well made but didn’t hit the mark for me. Regardless everything else from the sashimi to deserts were worth the price”
Pasticceria Leonardo
“Absolutely amazing place, been coming here for a few years now and have never had a bad experience. Rosa and the staff are so friendly and polite and just amazing. It has a proper homely rustic feel to it and the staff make you feel so welcomed every time you come in, everything on the menu is a must try and everything is amazing.”
Cutters Yard Bankside
“Joe is my barber and is always a pleasure to be around. He’s got a great energy and always keeps you entertained when he’s cutting your hair. Would definitely recommend this place, mainly because he’s a doll, but also because the coffee is good.”
Majestic Wine
“Nice wine, helpful service. The team here are really helpful. I had help finding the wine I was looking for. I was given a sheet with tasting notes for all the wines i bought and my wine was carried to the car for me. There were a number of wines open to try. Although I didn't like any of them as they were all old world. Suggestion for improvement - perhaps wider variety of wine available to taste ( new and old world).”
BottleCave Sydenham
“Great range of organic wines and craft beers and friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff”
Theatre of Wine
“Really friendly and informed staff that will help you find the perfect wine, and talk you through their tasting notes so you get what you're after, no up sell or miss sell. Great selection of craft beer and table snacks too. This was what I purchased today, they hit the nail on the head with what I was after:”
Gaks Wines
“Great little utility store for when supermarkets are closed”
Edmundo’s
“Great place to enjoy a good cigar with friendly atmosphere this was my second visit there will be many more. Celebrating the Queens Jubilee with a Havana. The Canny Scotsman. From Aberdeen.”
Cold Blooded Reptile Centre
“The staff here are so amazing I had to give them a good review. I work for a small mammals vet practice so reptiles are not our speciality. Two terrapins were dumped at our practice and we had no facilities to care for them. We needed to urgently find them a safe place to stay. We called a few places with no success, but then we called these guys and they were more than happy to help. When I got to the shop it was packed. They're clearly a very busy place but they still found the time to help rescue some strays in need. I spoke to some customers while I was there and they spoke very highly of the staff that worked there and I can see why.”
Barehams Boarding & Daycare Centre
“Tried to use self service dog wash for my boy today who has spinal condition, can be very stubborn and extra large breed. So unfortunately couldn't get him in the bath as he is too heavy to lift. Staff were very helpful and understanding and gave me refund no questions asked. Staff explained fully how to use machine and machine seemed very user friendly just shame couldn't get my boy in it. Definitely recommend for other people to try, that doesn't have x-large breed that requires lifting. Great customer service.”
The Ledbury
“Amazing experience! Wait staff operate like clockwork, just impressive to sit and watch them work. But they're also super friendly to talk to. Place has a formal yet modern vibe to it, and this is reflected also in the food. Great flavours, great ingredients, great drinks. Make sure you visit the bathroom during yoir sitting, to see the mushroom fridge!”
Paladar
“Amazing place. We had a celebration dinner here and wanted a Gluten Free choice, and were already so excited to find a place with no issues to worry about, but the food was truly top notch and well presented. Great wine list too, which I hope to explore more in future. Highly recommended”
Coffee Garden
“Pretty place with friendly staff. They have great positions in menu. Fresh juices, homemade burger and penne pasta we had were delicious, portions were big. They absolutely deserve 5 stars.”
East Side Deli - Artisan Delicatessen & Organic Coffee House
“This place has a wonderful mix of foods and products, a deli which wouldn't be out of place in Soho. Has everything from homemade wooden trugs, French camembert logoed serving plates oven gloves with bee motifs, garden planters in galvanised iron. A host of hampers etc etc..”
The Wine Reserve
“What I really like about the Wine Reserve, other than the fantastic selection they have, is the knowledge, the interest and the passion the staff have for wine. Their recommendations have been great, and the service, the charm and the options on offer are all excellent. I’ve even ordered and had them send wine as gifts and for parties, and really the people there are so helpful. So much better than buying from a supermarket! Highly recommended.”
Majestic Wine
“Felt compelled to write a note after another as always fantastic experience at Majestic Chiswick. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the store always looks immaculate and is always well stocked with interesting wines. But even more so the management here do a particularly good job and you can see their enthusiasm and attention to detail filter down to store and staff. I even drive further to Chiswick store than my local majestic as such a better experience. Looking forward to their tastings again when they open again”
Bottle.
“Lovely little cafe / wine bar in Highgate Village. Nice coffee and a great selection of wines. Super friendly staff too! Perfect 10/10”
Majestic Wine Islington
“Second to none when it comes to customer service, year after year, and the selection is interesting and varied.”
Table Du Marche
“Eaten here twice now and the food has been great. It’s very well priced for the quality and flavour of the food. The service has always been fine for me, just down to earth/friendly. I’d like to call this place a local hidden gem but it isn’t really hidden anymore, though that really helps the nice atmosphere that has developed inside. If you’re a local it’s a must visit.”
Goodfella Beckenham
“Great new place just opened. Italian bites & cocktails, cool decor. Pasta was home cooked & tasted great. Long Island ice tea was mixed the way it should be... About time we had a cocktail bar worth visiting.”
The Bakery Bar, Restaurant & Grill and Rooms
“We had a great time and had excellent rooms and enjoyed a great kitchen. Mr. Bond his family and staff are great! Love to visit them aging!”
