I arrived at After Dark after tube/ underground journey from Putney thinking “okay - not what I was expecting” and Douglas was incredible. I begin to say my size is and he says “Don't worry I can judge your size”. Try on this dress. Well the dress was fantastic! I looked so slim! I had a huge choice but the first one was the best. Thank you Douglas and I cannot recommend this shop more highly if you need a long glamorous dress. And to top it all very reasonably priced with a service that is rarely found these days - if ever.”

I turned up unannounced and Michelle was an absolute treasure making time to see me to discuss my needs and then managed to find time on another day for my daughter and I to visit her shop to look at her dresses. Having met my daughter Michelle completely got what she wanted and why, which was great. We now have a very happy young lady , a beautiful dress and shop we will definitely visit again. “Although I did not buy anything today that's not because I did not like anything. It's because I could not justify buying more footwear and considering where I could store additional footwear! Always find good quality and stylish shoes here. Pricey but you know you are getting quality here and not the deteriorating quality of other high street brands such as Clark's and others. I guess the old adage is true that you get what you pay for. My favourite formal shoes are from here and some 12 years old. Still perfectly good for use though!”
