“I was in the area and decided to visit this place. It has always been on my radar and this is the closest of three branches. Previous reviews naturally set my expectations high. Ekachai is an enchanting experience - right from the friendly service to the nasal nourishing food. The portions are very impressive which is great! Definitely recommend the food in pics. The pad thai seems a hot favourite. The star of the meal was the Thai coffee lon. A nostalgic taste if you had home made coffee. Do visit with an appetite to not waste food :) In terms of atmosphere the place could do a revamp. The food is very reasonably priced and makes you feel gallivanting south east Asia in all its glory.”

“Lovely food. Attended twice in two days. Really authentic food, with traditional flavours and mixed variety of dishes. Sadly the 'hot' dish isn't very spicy but the flavours are mixed and varied. Food was served piping hot and very quick”

Went as a group at lunchtime, booked for 2pm but their kitchen closes shortly before 3pm and they accommodated a large order at such speed but didn't compromise on quality. Would happily go back again, the food was amazing. Curries are definitely right size for 1 person so we ordered multiple to act as sharers but all come with plenty of rice.”

“A little hiddem gem I've ordered takeaway from here at least 10 times. The food is perfect and same every time. Squid is crispy and sweet and salty and if recommend. It doesn't look from the outside as good as what it is so prepare to be nicely surprised. Not too pricey as Well, the Currys are also very good. If you're a lover of Asian food they have a beautiful selection of the best foods.”

“You can always count on Chun Easy Thai for tasty food! It is delivered quite quickly on uber eats and the prices are worth it considering how good it tastes. Although it is not mega authentic it is 100% better than the slop you get served in some East London places. The Pad Thai, Green Curry and Tom Yum soup were all delicious and even the Wonton soup is great. Will always order from here.”

“We went here on a Saturday for a birthday meal. What stood out for me was the excellent customer service right from the moment we were at the door. They checked on us frequently making sure we were OK, were very polite and nothing was too much bother. The decor was stunning and made for a lovely atmosphere, as well as giving us some lovely pictures! The food was delicious. I had the som tam papaya salad and the giant butterflied king prawn Pad Thai which was quite unique, and very yummy. My husband had the red curry which was delicious and not too spicy. Other family members had the prawn Pad Thai and massaman curry which they enjoyed. This was my baby's first time trying Thai food and even she loved it- she enjoyed the dumplings and massaman curry from the kids menu! The drinks menu was fabulous, we really enjoyed our mocktails. We had 2 young children including a baby with us and the staff were very accommodating. The kids menu was lovely and impressively had none of the usual rubbish junk food on other restaurants' kids menus. The toilets were clean and hygienic. It was my father in law's birthday and they were kind enough to bring out a slice of cake with a candle and sing happy birthday (without being asked). It was the cherry on top of a perfect evening. We loved it and will be back. One thing to note is that there I don't think there is any step-free access that I could see- the manager helped us carry our baby's buggy in- so it may be an issue for wheelchair users. The closest parking was the Fremlin walk car park.”

“The food was great and reasonably priced. Loved the lychee bubble tea. The service was really quick too. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was very quiet so not sure if it get's busy on the weekdays. All in all, we had a great time!”

“Always so pleased to dine at ims. The food is always so fresh and tasty. I've now dined at ims for 5 years and after years of loving Thai food and trying out every Thai in the Borough at the very least this place has become my regular. Not only this but jasmine the owner with her husband make the space welcoming and inviting with lovely decoration. It's wonderful, friendly and a humble environment. The prices are very reasonable as I recently had a look at other local Thai restaurants and considering the portion sizes the value is reasonable. Always been very happy to cater to my young child's needs also, high chairs available and patience given. I cannot fault this restaurant.”

“I grew up in Asia so I’m pretty familiar with Thai food and this is the ONLY place I will order from ever and have been for maybe three years. Even when they’re closed on I think Wednesdays and I’m craving Thai I’d rather make my own food than get Thai anywhere else. The food here is just that good. Staff are always super friendly, when ordering delivery they’re prompt, and you can always call them, they’re so polite over the phone.”

“5 hygiene stars always a good start. Traditional Thai decor. Starters good with chicken satay and peanut sauce very tasty. My garlic and black pepper stir fry was fully of veg topped with lovely fluffy freshly deep fried tofu. He has drunken noodles which were plenty hot. We are glad this business has survived through the years. Sorry I ate all the tofu and half the veg before I took the photo!”

“My gf ordered from here a few weeks ago online and due to the technical error nothing turned up. After eventually getting everything sorted with the owner they offered a full refund and something on the house for the fault. Ordered from here yesterday and can same the food is authentic, tasty, spicy, well portioned sized and fairly priced. I would recommend this Thai take away.”

“Myself and my wife visited this place today and ordered a pad thai and a green curry, and some chicken gyozas. It was absolutely delicious - I was already drooling while waiting for the lovely lady cooking our food, it smelled soooo good. It tasted absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this place!! “Wonderful family owned Thai restaurant. Very chic, wonderfully comfortable and definitely Instagrammable. The kitchen was situated in the bar area so was essentially an “open kitchen”. Customer service - Service was excellent - friendly and warm, typically Thai…service with a smile. Washroom - The bathroom was beautifully decorated and clean. Food - took a little long but tasted absolutely delicious. Beautifully presented and the flavours were authentic. For starters we had the ribs and spring rolls. Both were exceptional. Ribs were wonderfully flavoursome and succulent. Spring rolls were generously filled. We had mains from their lunch menu. Again aesthetically pleasing and delicious. The flavours took me back to Thailand. Couldn’t fault the food. Drinks - extensive drinks menu and a good selection of mocktails. We had a peach and lychee fizz but was a tad too sweet for my liking so I ordered water to dilute. Price - it was a birthday treat but the menu on the prices were a bit pricey for everyday lunch but definitely worth it as a treat. Would I return - YES!! Loved the food, loved the service, loved the decor YES YES YES.”

“We’ve visited here on Sunday late afternoon for the first time since last year. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive our food was served promptly after ordering and all our food tasted fresh and made to order. I’d recommend this place as it’s one of the few places offer truly authentic Thai food with reasonable price in London. Thank you for the amazing food :)”

“Great meal in a cozy and inviting space and warm service even post 9 pm when restaurants around are starting to shut down. 2 mins walk from Oxford street tube station, this was a perfect find for hot and flavourful food on a cool autumn night. Scallops, Red curry and rice, chili basil noodles were all excellent.”

“Great spot to have lovely Thai food. Started off with the meat mixed platter with 3x sauces (satay, sweet chili and tamarind) started the meal perfectly. Deliciously creamy panang and massaman Currys and the stir fried aubergine (in tamarind sauce) put smiles on our faces. Sticky rice in a mini banana leaf was a nice side. House white was really appreciated and the Rosa s IPA was a nice change from lager. Got a bit busy on a Thursday night but good buzz about the place. Staff were lovely, Great lunch or dinner spot.”
