Unlimited gravy ( with onions too-perfect) and Yorkshire’s baked as they should be. Couldn’t fault both beef and pork with all the trimmings. Lovely apple pie with double scoops of very good quality ice cream. We were stuffed!! We’ll done the Northcote arms!! We’ll be back for sure!!”

Bridge House
● Closed“Lovely pub with a great vibe. It was busy but the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Ordering was intuitive and didn't feel like a big fuss, which was nice because it allowed us to enjoy our chat and drinks. Also very accommodating of our dog, bought her a bowl of water and refilled it. Encouraging of dogs, which was lovely for our dog. The food was incredible. Undeniably, there was a wait but it was well worth the wait and money paid when the food arrived. Staff were mega patient about the bill. Overall, an easy and intuitive experience to order. Staff were perfect, food matched the standard. Had a wonderful time. Although the menu is on the pricier side, all pubs are now. With the loss of free house pubs, these prices are to be expected. AND, this is one of few modern pubs that I would say the money and time spent was completely reciprocated with a wonderful experience.”

Hope & Anchor
● Closed“lovely bar staff, great atmosphere and plenty of places to sit inside. good selection of draught drinks”
-
The Three Crowns
● Closed“Excellent pull down screen and loud, clear speakers for watching live sports. The beer selection is reasonable, with enough options to for everyone to find something to their liking, and the decor and general atmosphere is homely, upbeat and lively. The cheesy fries were far too cheesy for us, however, with the bottom being more akin to the taste and texture of the sauce you’d find in Mac and cheese.”

The Star By Hackney Downs
● Closed“Had a lovely sunday lunch . 2 of us shared the half rotisserie chicken, and an extra cauliflower cheese..more than enough for two greedy people. Beautifully herbed and seasoned chicken with very nice veg, the gravy was a triumph. Cauliflower cheese was very flavoursome with lovely toasty bits round the edge of the dish, we couldn't stop picking at them. Very good food and a very good price”

The Avalon
● Closed“I honestly think this is one of the great London pubs. It’s perfect in every season. It’s perfect for a lone pint, for a family meal and, speaking from personal experience, the best place for a large scale event. They’re attentive and helpful and friendly and the food is good value and delicious. 5 stars across the board.”

The Bedford
● Closed“Went few times for food and drinks and I had great time, food was a bit pricey (or the portion a bit small) but almost always very good. Cannot fault the drink department as you are spoiled with choices. I’ll definitely be back for a gig, I have high expectations! Edit: and I did it, went back for a good night of live music and it was superb, great artists, a big pizza and a lot of fun, not to be missed.”

The Salisbury Arms
● ClosedHoppers Road, London N21 3NP, United Kingdom“They had very limited dishes as we missed Sunday lunch so ordered the fish and chips. It was delicious and crispy. Plus, this is the only pub I know that sells my favourite red wine 19 crimes. So 5 stars all over. Service is great too. They are quick and on the ball which means the bar isn't clogged with people waiting to be served. There's a car park opposite which requires your car registration in the pub.”
-
The Prince Albert
● Closed611 Hertford Road, Enfield EN3 6UP, United Kingdom“Friendly staff and very friendly locals. Pub itself isn't a place I would invite someone on a date, but surly I would enjoy this pub for few drinks with friends.”
