It’s obvious that Shirley really loves dogs and takes excellent care of Amber whilst we are away - the regular updates of what she’s been up to are lovely (and sometimes very funny!) “After our recent experience with Medivet, I'm happy to drive 20 miles to this practice. Medivet were trying to push us towards paying 8k in overnight drip stays and liver shunt surgery when our little guy was dying from wet FIP. The lovely nurse that dealt with us spotted the tell tales on the first visit and went above and beyond, even ringing me at 8pm on a Friday night to discuss his bloods results.”

“I enjoyed my stay here very much. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, it was quiet and plenty of space to put belongings. The room included towels and a hairdryer, as well as the hotel's own shower gel and shampoo, which was handy. The hotel provides you two hotel keys, even though I travelled alone, this was helpful. The card with keys was a voucher for a free complimentary drink at the bar, which was a nice touch. The staff were helpful and friendly, nice and quiet hotel, and offered a breakfast buffet, too pricey for me, so I opted out. The hotel is situated close to shops and bars and restaurants. Would definitely uyse again.”

“We had a lovely one night layover at this hotel. Bee, at the desk, was extremely helpful in making sure we had the accommodations we had requested. So lovely. Even as we were waiting for confirmation she put our phone on charge. Carlos helped us with nearby options for activities. We enjoyed the chat and our room was better than expected. Lovely people to work with.”

“Rooms are clean, kitchen area and bathrooms both spotless, all looks quite new. The room is basic with a comfortable bed and a wardrobe, it is as described. Easy to find, right on the high street.”

“Tried to use self service dog wash for my boy today who has spinal condition, can be very stubborn and extra large breed. So unfortunately couldn't get him in the bath as he is too heavy to lift. Staff were very helpful and understanding and gave me refund no questions asked. Staff explained fully how to use machine and machine seemed very user friendly just shame couldn't get my boy in it. Definitely recommend for other people to try, that doesn't have x-large breed that requires lifting. Great customer service.”

“We have been using Turner & Pooch for over 5 years both in Upminster & now in Shenfield and they have always provided an excellent service. They are friendly, reliable and go the extra mile. Mike is so kind and patient with our dogs, Nikki is super efficient and knows all your requirements and goes out of her way to help. We have our raw food supplied by them, our dog’s walked daily and now use them for holiday house/dog sitting - Becky left our house spotless and the dogs very happy. We highly recommend their services.”

“We used "mollys" some years back with our miniature schnauzer Maisie, she always looked forward to her "haircuts" the staff were always welcoming, polite and did a great job with her, it's a shame we now live 70 odd miles away otherwise we would still be using them now ! “The best one I visited from many as I drive around. My card stopped working so i asked them if they can keep it for me, came back few hours later and they kept it inside chiller for me. Very good staff. There always new items instore every week and 90% always stocked up. I think Bakery is the best I've seen, always fresh and loads of variety.”

“This is the second time that we have taken our dog Buster to prim and proper pooches at Tracey,s new shop in st chads road Tilbury. We cannot thank Tracy enough for the excellent service she and her team provide, they are very professional and meet busters every needs. We would highly recommend Tracey to everyone for every loving dog owner. We also like that Tracey provides dog products at the shop that we can buy.”

“Clean and tidy. Nice service. A large selection of products. A lot of discount. Good prices. Fresh products, frozen meat dishes, fish, vegetables. Bread, alcohol, beer, soft drinks, milk. A large car park. Easy access. A large store. It is worth coming to shopping.”

“We visited here for Afternoon Tea with Father Christmas. We were a large group of 10 (adults and children). The venue was beautifully decorated for the festive season. Food was delicious and offered alternatives for the vegetarians in our group. Joe Banana was the entertainer for the afternoon and he did not disappoint. The Father Christmas was very good. Plenty of activities for the children to keep them occupied. Would definitely return.”

“Stayed here for one night, friendly helpful staff on reception and the hotel was very quiet which was great. Room was very clean and more than enough space for family of 4 which 2 younger children. Literally a 5 minute drive from lakeside shopping centre and no problem parking the car”

“Stayed here with work. Very clean accommodation. Very Friendly staff. Next to the lake and Lakeside shopping centre. Free on site car parking. Bargain priced food. 2 courses under £13. Happy hour on drinks in bar between 5 and 7. Brilliant value accommodation. Yes maybe a little short staffed but I was not in any rush. Its not marketed as a top class hotel so don't expect it. If you want that then book elsewhere. If you want basic, clean accommodation with friendly staff then book here. Will definitely stay again when in area. Brilliant value for money.”

“Had afternoon tea here with my wife as I have never had this myself so my wife thought it be nice to take me here also we have been here several times to her work Christmas Parties over the years great venue for parties and was great sandwiches and cakes was lovely to sit outside not stayed in the rooms so can't rate them but by the quality services and food and having been there a number of times I should imagine they are nice also. Definitely worth the trip for afternoon tea I suggest everyone to try it as the pictures Definitely look very kool and posh and always always CREAM FIRST THEN JAM remember this no excuses now as you have heard it here as a FACT”
