DUNE SPICE & SHISHA LOUNGE
“I came at a time where it wasn't busy so I was able to stay for however long I wanted which is amazing if you've come to smoke shisha and just chill. The workers will treat you with such good care and they'd check up on you and go the extra mile to satisfy your needs. I highly recommend this lounge and will be coming again very soon 10/10”
Al Waha
“We had very nice vegan lunch here. All dishes are of very high quality and very tasty. Quick service with a smile”
Al Quds
“I just loved the food and service, it was my first time eating Arabic food it was tasty. Suggestion to all foodies asks the hotel staff to help you get the right Arabic food.”
Awafi Foods
“Discovery of Real & Authentic Lebanese Culinary Delights in the heart of London Recently, while I was in the area during early evening, I decided to have a quick Falafel Sandwich at Awafi Foods, as I had been here pre-Covid for dinner once. Therefore, I am quite familiar with this outlet, as I fell in love at the first bite, and it was always in my mind to try their food again, after Covid, whenever I am in the area, as a must. I just fell in love with the food here, as Lebanese Food in among my most favourite preferences from ages. This is takeaway, cafeteria, which mainly specialises in outdoor catering, with delivery and serving facilities with chafing serving dishes, all packaged together in the deal for many important events, like weddings, birthdays, get-together parties, etc. By then, and on this visit, I saw their Vans busy being loaded up all the time, with hot food for deliveries to various destinations for various events, and they are very busy all the time. Yet, they pay great attention to detail, with same curtesy and warm smiles, even while serving a client who walks in for a simple sandwich or a burger, too. Last time I tried their Kofta Kebabs, Lamb Kibbeh, Hummus, & Fattoush, and also bought few items as takeaway to take them home for the family. This time, I met Jason, the owner himself at the counter, and complimented him personally on the spot, for their fabulous food, and services which are 2nd to none. Surprisingly, their prices are also still the same as pre-Covid, which is an important point to note. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who craves Real Authentic Lebanese Food in London, and at reasonable and fair price, too. Ash-Cash and Ashandkaren”
Baba Ghanouj Kensington
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting a Lebanese restaurant, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was charming and authentically Lebanese, with beautiful murals adorning the walls. As I settled in, I noticed the music playing softly in the background. It was the perfect blend of traditional Middle Eastern tunes and modern pop songs, creating a lively yet relaxing ambiance that perfectly complemented the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. But of course, the highlight of any dining experience is the food, and this Lebanese restaurant did not disappoint. Every dish was bursting with flavor, from the classic hummus and tabbouleh to the more unique dishes like shakshuka and kibbeh. Each plate was beautifully presented, and I could tell that the chef had put a lot of care and attention into each and every dish. What really stood out to me, though, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel like a valued customer. Throughout the meal, the servers were attentive without being intrusive, and they made sure that everything was to my liking. All in all, I would highly recommend this Lebanese restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.”
Shawarma Hut
“My fave restaurant in London. The staffs specially the chef and the waiter in east street branch is lovely. They are always so cheerful even if we dine in late! The Chicken and Shawarma is the best i have tasted, it is so addicting that we always have to come back for it every week!”

“My favourite falafel in London. Pure and homemade. Service is always good from Lina and the other lady. Definitely recommend”

“Such good cooking! Completely floored by the quality of ingredients and the cooking - totally stellar! Thoroughly enjoyed lunch, tried the vegetarian set menu, very filling and extremely reasonable pricing. Do not miss the cocktails as well, fantastic! Will highly recommend!”

Beit Beirut
“We booked for 2 as the reviews showed fabulous food and staff. We chose 2 menus, one vegetarian and the plates just didn't stop coming. We couldn't believe how much food we were being served. We drank Lebanese wine and beer which were also excellent. While we still had plenty of food on the table, the friendly waitress brought more tasting plates and announced she would bring the main course in 15 minutes! We were amazed that there was more food to come. The restaurant is a real gem. The staff are genuinely warm and explained each dish as it was served. We loved the wine wall and the coloured lighting. Will definitely return to repeat the experience. We had to take away the baklava as we were simply too full. That was lovely too. Thank you.”
Istanblu
“This place is a hidden gem. The decoration was lovely and it was super clean. From the moment we walked in, the waiter made us feel extremely welcome and was very friendly and attentive all throughout. The food was very delicious. I highly recommend the Hummus with Kavurma for a starter. Then we got Lahmacun and Pide for mains and they were both delicious. Must visit if nearby.”
Hummus Bar Hendon Express
“From the moment we stepped in until the moment we left, the whole experience was excellent. Amazing service and staff who focused in on what we wanted. Extra unasked for servings of food went a long way to show how much the staff care. Highly recommended.”
Meraz
“Delicious chicken curries and lamb with friendly service in a clean, cute setting. The runner beans and fried spinach were also amazing!”
Butt Kebabish
“Best Pakistani food I have eaten for a long time. Really good customer service. I have ordered grilled chicken and mix grill. Both were amazing and meat quality was best.”
Salims
“Love the food at this recent find - classic Indian/Pakistani dishes, done really well and at a very reasonable price. The weekend special biryanis are among the best I’ve tried in London, and a bargain at £5 to take away. The freshly made naan at a mere 70p is nothing to be sniffed at too. I definitely need to explore more of telegram menu. In terms of vegetarian items, the tarka daal was excellent.”
Silk Road
“There are not many Xinjiang restaurants in London. I have passed by this restaurant many times and have not tried it. Today I finally have the opportunity. There were already a lot of people at 2pm on a Sunday, but the food was served quickly. My friend said that he couldn't taste the Xinjiang flavor, and the dishes were all spicy, but we all felt that the taste was good, and the price was affordable.”
Silver Palace
“This is the best Chinese ! I have been going here for 15+ years (as long as I can remember). The people are lovely and friendly. They are super efficient too. Their prices are so good. Usually a takeaway from here is about half the price it is from other places in the area. It is a must-go to in Finsbury Park, there's no where I crave more when I go away etc. Recommendations as a vegetarian: the yellow bean tofu, sweet and sour tofu or satay tofu (all so good). The egg/vegetable fried rice is lovely. Seaweed and prawn crackers are great. For meat-eaters, the crispy duck is great with pancakes and so is the crispy chilli beef, among lots of other dishes. Thanks for making such delicious food. And always different art on the walls!”
Teta's
“Sublimely authentic Lebanese food. There are items on the menu (like the bamieh) that I hadn't had in years. And having it at Teta's brought back a flood of memories. Love this place, and wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for plainly good and authentic Middle Eastern food.”
The Palomar
“Fabulous lunch, great atmosphere, very cool vibes, and importantly, sensational food. Start with a tear and dip, then follow with a mix of sharing plates. The flavours were incredible, great variety on the menu too. The cocktails were also exceptional - loved the sour and honey bee. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth it.”
Berber & Q
“My Daughter took me for a surprise meal here. The music was loud. I found the wooden bench seating uncomfortable but I did enjoy the overall experience & food. Personally I think not much choice for mains & a little expensive, especially the sides & drinks. No Coke etc on menu. The seating was also close together. Both meals came out on a sharing platter.”
Farfesh Lounge
“Farfesh Lounge had a lovely atmosphere. Good shisha. Nice drinks. We weren't hungry so didn't have food. It was a bit surprising that Google maps shows it as Italian given that the menu items weren't Italian except for pizza. Perhaps the menu has changed. Regardless, we had a great time and we'd happily return.”
Shawarma
“Tasty and affordable fresh food (lamb shawarma, fattoush salad, falafel and chips) served by a genuine and friendly owner!”
Tarboush
“Up there as one of our favourites. Bring your own alcohol, they will add a small corkage fee. which always makes it a cheap night out. Food is amazing and you always want more even though you are stuffed. You can order shisha in the garden area. Garden area is fully heater and roasting on a cold November night. I didn’t want to leave. They also have a big screen in the back for footy. Went on a Tuesday night wasn’t overly crowded. Get the Baba Ghanoush 5* They add 10% service charge to the bill”
Mezze Grill
“Absolutely delicious food. I ordered the Mixed Kofte with Couscous (or Bulgar). The friendly staff brought out salad and pitta bread to accompany the main meal. The lamb and chicken were cooked to perfection and the Efes beer was tasty too! I thoroughly recommend this restaurant and will be returning again on our next concert trip to Wembley!”
Shishlique
“We went on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was quite full with many takeaway orders. Although there were many customers, we didn't have to wait too long for food. It was nice to see the meat and dishes freshly prepared in the kitchen right next to the seating area. The portions were perfect and there was a good mix of salad, rice and meat. All the food was seasoned well and had a nice charred taste to them. The staff were very friendly and would highly recommend this place!”
Falafel Bar Finchley
“Best falafel I had in a long while. Generous serving, tastes fresh and not dry, yummy hummus and a wide selection of healthy salads. Best of all — almost everything is vegan. I tried the spicy box and was thoroughly satisfied. Priced very reasonably for such quality.”
