“My wife and I regularly come here and have got to know the managment and staff. The atmosphere is welcoming the staff are professional and the food is delicious. The chefs know their craft and it shows. A good restraunt for gluten Free diets as they have an entire menu dedicated to it. Special mention to the manager Aleksandra who always makes us feel welcome when we visit.”

“From the second you walk in until the second you leave you feel like you are home away from home. The staff who are mainly volunteers I might add are all lovely and friendly and the manageress (RACHAEL) is an absolute breath of fresh air, always has a smile on her face and always willing to try and make your stay as good an experience as she and her team possibly can. There isn't a massive selection of food , but what they do have is beautifully cooked and made and presented in a very clean and professional manner . All the food is freshly prepared and the coffee is awesome. The decor of the Cafe is very cosy and comfortable and also very bright and airey which allows you to just relax . The seating is of a very high standard and the Cafe is also situated next to a park so you can make a day or afternoon of it if you have children etc etc. I can't recommend this place enough, and I'm in there most days lol. “We had a really delicious lunch here yesterday. Super scrummy food, and my husband said his hot chocolate was really nice. Oh and amazing doughnuts! Absolutely the nicest (and busiest!) cafe on the high street. Very friendly, lovely staff. If we lived in the area we would definitely visit frequently!”

“Had chicken and spinach pizza was delicious, my husband who is coeliac had a gluten free pizza and says one of the best he has tasted, both had sweets, me tiramisu and hazelnut ice cream both delicious, waiters were happy and polite, background Italian music relaxing and enjoyable, lovely bottle of red wine to wash it down”

“We have just had the most wonderful takeaway meal - I can’t single out a dish as it was all so good but the chow mein is delicious, the curry fantastic, chicken balls amazing, and the sweet n sour chicken the best I’ve tasted - oh and don’t forget to add the crispy seaweed! If you haven’t tried JP & Chef yet, you are missing out!”
